As someone who only really plays 1's nowadays in Rocket League, this has become my favorite channel! This was one of my favorite showmatches yet!
Honestly, that little boost circle is kind of cool so far. Just set your nameplates to minimal, max out the size, and you'll JUST have a big boost indicator over your teammate's head(s).
mawkzy is literally a one-trick pony man every play of his is a flick and sometimes an air dribble bump

@@klutchboi3266 He still wins an awful lot if that is what you mean. It is very very hard to stay at the top of RL in 1s, it's only natural that at some point you get figured out. I wrote Mawkzy is like Arjen Robben, a one trick pony, but just like Robben he isn't just a one trick pony. He is an incredible athlete and really good at what he does. Mawkzy the guy goes for consistency. Exactly the reason why he tops the leaderboards in ranked so much in 1s.
@@punk4rockorz yea I agree that is still a good 1v1 player but he can no longer be called the best, far from that. If you put him against players like Rezears, Dark or Fast, he is whooping their asses but he cant hang with Diaz, Nass and RW9 anymore. Do you not think it's a fair reaction, his recent 1v1 record has been awful against top top player? 4-0 against RW9, 4-1 against Diaz and 4-1 against Nass

Mawkzy has the air mechs of an average SSL , that won't get him far in RLCS , he is a top 1s player only because ground plays are the most common in 1v1 , in any other gamemode he is not even top200 especially in 3v3 , even in 2v2 when he sometimes get matches with the pros who has several hundred more MMR he looks like he don't belong in that lobby , this has been the case for years now , stop acting like Mawkzy is not a pro cause he doesn't want to lol @@Shapiritito

I havent seen Tox's pinch yet and I'll agree that Atow's pinch with the context of the moment could very well have it bepossibly the best ever in RLCS, but the old school in me says that I have to stick with the Kux pinch because he was the first to ever do it and if he hadnt or didnt even try to attempt things like that, who knows how big an impact it would have in the game today or if it would have ever even became a thing people in pro level would consider worth the risk of even attempting. I feel that this current generation and the one before it are quick to dismiss people's accomplishments from the past because it didnt happen right now and they receny bias everything and don't have the logic to think how the things they see today came about, and the people that championed them and even brought them to the forefront to be big parts of the game today. Not hating btw, I just have a different way of looking at things and the broader picture and carry a wee bit more appreciation for the people who accomplished things first and made the game what it is today, I'm like that with all sports though. Imo you cant have a today without the many yesterdays before them.

@D.schlich303 No, that's not what I am saying. I am a champ player, and Mawkzy is still a top 10 player imo. But i am just highlighting how far he has fallen. 4 months ago, he was beating RW9, Zen and Nass in salt mine now look at him, getting smacked by literally everyone. I am not even a hater, stop riding his cock. He is one of the players that I like a lot, I was just stating facts.
