Ranking Nigel Good's "A Little Something" Album

The legendary Nigel Good has returned after 9 years! His 2015 album "Space Cadet" is iconic and well-loved by the Monstercat community -- myself included. How does his new album stack up to a near-flawless album 🤔 (reminder that these are just my opinions so take them with a grain of salt)

I don't believe that it's a miracle. In fact, it would be a miracle if you do this regularly and stop thinking everything is all the same.
Silk has a lot of gems that have a charm to it. Best if you take some time to listen in and appreciate. While it might not be for everyone, at least it's neat to have such tunes to our rotation.

NIGEL GOOD IS BACK LETS FUCKING GOOOO. Actually glad to see him make more music and this album is really good because Nigel good must have some of the best story telling when it comes to writing an album .

This was the first time I had heard of Nigel Good, but I have to say this album is phenomenal. And considering that he's back after 9 years, this would've been a "he's still got it" moment if I had heard of him prior.
All of the tracks here are just great, but my favorite is definitely Bastion Part 2. It is the epitome of a magical atmosphere with cinematic strings, and he just does it so well. I can't even begin to describe the song as a whole. This was great.

I literally didnt watch this video until now because I quite literally just finished listening to the album in full with a close friend.
This is easily album of the year for me
Every single track is near damn perfect, I love how his production flows so well track to track, I love the chords, I love the vocals and vocal chops, this is literally a perfect album.
Was it worth the 9 year wait? Abso fuckin lutly

Seeing Nigel Good return to Monstercat after 9 years was not on my bingo card for 2024.
Seeing him appear on SILK of all labels doubly took me by surprise.
This is exactly what Silk needs to breath some life into the label, because as it is now it's seen as "boring silk house" machine.
Really really happy to see NG back in business after so long.

"The Magic" for me is Silk's best song since Miles To Go by Kaskade, and also Nigel Good's return really got me to check in on Silk
Also can't wait for some songs from this album to end up in the top 50 of 2024 xd
