"If I'm single right now, I have to believe that that's the best thing for me, or else something different would be happening, because that's what God's word says"! What a beautiful statement! Powerful reminder that we can trust God through all of life's seasons. ❤

Super helpful Bri - well done and thank you both for articulating this well. God is sovereign yet he wants his children to ask him for things. God will grant whatever is in his will and he is always working out things for the Good of those who love him. Praying for you Bri - on both sides lol - that he strengthen you in your current season to continue being a blessing to the women at TMU and others and also that according to his plans he grants your desire for a husband should it align to him. Keep enjoying God and being faithful where you are. Your prayer life in this season must be a balancing act lol. God is faithful though. God bless

To the extent that singleness is a "gift" ... it is assuredly a cross-shaped gift.

Godliness and contentment are great gains and God is good and he is good to his people! Thank you for sharing and glorifying the Lord in his sanctifying love and fruitfulness in your life as a single! I pray others will come to know the joy of the Lord in the privilege of honouring and glorifying God in whatever state one is in. Thanks for sharing Brianna, many maturing singles in the Lord are in this content state❤

Why does he blatantly mock/laugh at her in the beginning when he says “you are not married”. Pretty disrespectful to be honest.

the harsh reality is, we were not created to be single, if so there would be no need for Eve if you believe in the bible interpretation of creation

Yeah but scripture interprets scripture and Paul speaks at length about singleness being a gift from God. God said it is not good for man to be alone, that doesn’t need to mean that we all must have a marriage now we have one another the church to keep us company and to be there for one another. So yes marriage is a gift and was created by God for His glory but not all are called to marriage ultimately and that’s to His glory also.
