Passive house - SPOT - How did the buying at SPOT prices for 04/2024 work out and can we save money?

Real experience with buying electricity from SPOT price. And evaluating them month by month.
In this video I share my experience and changes on a passive house purchased in the Green Zlonín project in 2018 (2nd phase). The house was completed and handed over in 09/2020. However, my journey and dealing with the complications started as early as 05/2020 :). Below I am also sharing the articles I wrote on my blog. They describe the gradual debugging and changes to the system.
In short, a passive house is mainly an expensive toy that requires quite a bit of care and understanding of its inner workings to keep its owner happy and well served.
Real consumption for 2023 (Paid)
- 3 MWh from the grid (approx. 26 000,- price list from CEZ Electricity indefinitely)
- 120 m3 of water (approx. 14 500,-)
System parameters:
- Passive house (2 people, approx. 100 m2 of usable area)
- Heat pump + internal heat storage 425 l + boiler 60 l
Installed systems:
- Heat recovery (heating and cooling) - Atrea RA5 Duplex
- Solar system output - 14 kWp (East/West)
- Inverter - RCT Power Storage DC 10 kW
- Battery - 11.5 kWh LiFePo4 (90% usable capacity)
- Internal heat storage (approx. 10kWh capacity for solar system)
- Plug-In hybrid car (approx. 14 kWh capacity for energy storage)
- 5,600 litre rainwater storage tank
- Outdoor blinds
Changes 2024
- Purchase at SPOT (350,- margin + SPOT price)
- Charging the battery through cheap SPOT prices
- Sale of solar overflow at 1 800,- / MWh FIX
