Hi Katy! A florist once told me that tulips keep growing after they are picked, therefore you need to cut a few inches (I’m from Europe so I don’t know the equivalence of 1-2cm in US metric system) every other day, and it should help them stay straight longer! 🌷

Coming off birth control was the best thing I’ve ever done. Being able to naturally track my cycle and be in tune with my body/my bodies symptoms is literally life changing and I’ve never felt better.

Hi Katy! Could you please share if you consider other options of non-hormonal birth control? I am on hormonal birth control for 11 years and I want a change as well... xxx thx!
I don't think she knows, hence why she's on the pill. I would suggest the non-hormonal copper IUD, tracking your cycle using Natural Cycles / BBT, and combining the aforementioned cycle tracking with condoms/pull out method. Pull out method alone is NOT enough (I just have to say that so no one thinks I mean that lol). Honestly, I think most of us feel pressured to go on the pill because men hate condoms so much, but, sorry, get a vasectomy or pull out or wear a condom. Men are so uneducated about how much the pill changes us, ugh. It's not totally their fault because women are also not educated. I'd suggest books by Alyssa Vitti too!

Fun vlog! Re: birth control, you can't track your cycle because birth control shuts your body's natural functions down. I'm sure you know this but the period you get isn't even a real period - it's just breakthrough bleeding. It [birth control] changes you [us, women] physically and mentally, sadly. I was on the pill for 8 years and had a hormonal IUD for another 7. My anxiety was like night and day when I got off hormonal birth control! Maybe talk to your OBGYN about the non-hormonal copper IUD? Or just get off the pill, track when you're fertile using BBT, and use condoms!
