Love the breakdown. I'm having trouble hearing the audio from channel 1 and the guest on Riverside in the same set of headphones. Any tips on connecting both audio channels through the RodeCaster Duo?
Hey there! Are you plugging your headphones directly into the Rodecaster Duo? And if so, when you go into the Rode Connect app, can you see the levels set for headphone 1? Make sure the first mic input and usb are turned up in the faders.
Ok. I've followed the instructions in the video. I'm missing something I think. I hooked up the mic's and they showed up and worked. When I go into studio, they aren't being picked up. When I talk into them, the volume isn't moving in Riverside and I don't hear anything in the headphones.

Thank you! If they were strictly broadcasting "out" and maybe playing video or audio clips from a computer as USB "in," then they would want that audio included in the mix.

This is a great video! I do have a question: when using the Rodecaster Duo, where would I be able to access the audio files after I record an episode? Would they be available on riverside’s platform, or would I have to access the micro SD card?
thanks! If you're recording with Riverside, the files you access will be in the Riverside dashboard! If you're recording without Riverside, you'll need to insert a microSD card, hit record on the board, and then access those files from the SD card on your computer.
How to connect to dslr camera and for CZcams video? Actually your quality is Amazinnnnggg, what microphone set up do you recommend?

Hello and thank you for this video. I have a question. How can you control the volume of the monitors out ? can you do that with the big knob? Is that possible?
You have to jump into the menus for that. I typically manage it with the Rode Connect app on my computer!

I'm struggling to get my audio sync'd on Riverside when I use Rodecater Pro 2. What settings do you recommend. (I have audio processing active). PS! I use FCPX to sync audio during post production.
What mic are you using and how far is it “off”?

I bought the Røde Streamer X … the biggest mistake. No problem with audio, but there are nothing but problems with the video part and the Unify software (Mac). Happy new year :)
Ah sorry to hear that. What was wrong specifically, maybe we can advise.
@@Riversidefmwhen you use QT to record on a M1 Mac Mini, streamer X changes fps and you cannot record in 4K. UniFy is just bad software, constantly resetting itself, shutting down. And that's on completely fresh installed macos and fully updated streamer X. Never had similar problems with Elgato Cam Link 4K. Røde won't really admit anything.

Will I have any issues if I put some effects on my mic during the recording. My recording wont be raw but is there any other problem that I will ecounter? I'm planning on buying it next week
No problems, you can put effects on your mic via the Duo and that audio will be recorded just fine in Riverside!
My MacBook Pro doesn't have a USB-C input. What are my options to connect it to the Rodecaster Duo?
You can attempt to use a USB-C to USB-A adapter, but you may have connectivity issues.
How do you connect a phone for music and use audio ducking
You can pair a phone via bluetooth to the board for that, and I'm not sure the Duo has ducking built-in.
Hi there, I followed the complete step-by-step guide from the video, but in Riverside I can only choose the RodeCaster Duo Chat as my microphone. In the speaker dropdown I can select 'Rodecaster Duo main'. What am I doing wrong? I can select Rodecaster Duo Main in Windows as my recording and playback devices....
You may need to go to the Midi Settings Utility on your Mac and enable the Main input. Search spotlight for "Audio Midi Setup" and then click your device in the left sidebar.
My video quality says 720p how do I fix that? I'm connected with a Sony zv10
If you're using it in webcam utility mode, Sony caps that at 720. If you'd like higher resolution video, you'll need to go out of your Sony camera via HDMI and use a capture card like those from Elgato
İ have a question sir. whatever i am doing in windows sound input level it always automatically adjust for %44. i can not keep on %70. why is like that?
On the Rodecaster or in the Windows settings specifically? Is there a checkbox you can turn off for "automatically adjust volume"?
@@Riversidefm in the windows settings. yes some app control level of it but I can not control it. for instance I move it %70 and start talking and automatically it makes %44
I want to use the soundboard, but with these settings nothing is recorded to Riverside?
If you change the audio routing settings so soundboard is played OUT via the USB connection, they will be recorded in your Riverside track as well. But it will be alongside your voice, not a separate track, just keep that in mind.
@@Riversidefm Yes, I’m aware, but I’m using the sound snd recording from my Rødecaster as the final audio. It’s just so that my partner can hear the soundboard audio and know how to react. I managed to to get this to work, but I’m not really sure how. Also, I had to, after 7 min, set the Chat channel as speaker in Riverside for me to hear my partner. At first I could hear I’m through the main channel, but he suddenly dropped out.
I add the USB C cable and there is this HORRIBLE noise that comes through my head phones. I'm wanting to record and every time I hook it up it does this!!!!! I'm new in this realm of technology. Can you help? My mic is fricken amazing. Yeti X. I have the Rodecaster Duo
Have you downloaded the Rode connect app to manage the device in software? And if so, go to the device config, headphones, and make sure you've chosen the high sensitivity vs. low sensitive headphone options appropriately.
@@Riversidefm I figured it out. I had my microphone plugged into a hub for power and that’s what was created the problem. Now I’m trying to figure out why the output isn’t playing through my Bluetooth speaker. I have the podcast or duo for both the output and input
You really want to be touching the red when you're talking. Not in the middle of the yellow. You're still under modulating in the yellow.

You can playback videos at half speed here on CZcams! And it can be chosen as the audio input and output there too.
