😢 The magma that was seeping up in Oct 2016 is now, a day after SCOTUS decided to make Trump a king, like a breeze on a spring day. We are so deep down a hole now that it doesn't even feel real.
The human inclination to divide our reality into good vs bad is honestly one of our biggest flaws..
I disagree, there are objectively good and bad things.
Example: Nutella is objectively good and in contrast, the film 'Cats' is a horrendous crime against humanity.

@@emiliskog just because you can't or shouldn't have something doesn't mean it isn't good. If I eat an orange, I will experience joy unlike that which any other food can provide. Also, the inside of my face will start developing ulcers that last for months.

What are two things I would prefer America moved on from, John.
It's so sickening that people think it's justified in the slightest to keep 100 people in prison for life just because ONE OR TWO of them might fight...our army and our allies that are doing imperialism in their land or the land of people they identify with. People like that can't comprehend how horrible it would be if it happened to them, but, you know, .
When the "leaders" of a country reject the very concept of justice, that country is not worth allowing to continue.
never got an update on that cat, it sure looks like his cat, after this episode it was never mentioned again. its wildly always been in the back of my mind. no ones talked about how John Oliver got his cat. or if it was really his cat. it sure looks like it is. where is the cat now?
The cat John Oliver was holding has a different facial structure and different color of fur on it's face compared to the cat that the dictator owned. I am guessing that JO simply identified the species and age of the dictator's cat and found one that was as close to his as possible. As you said, it would be incredibly weird and questionable if JO somehow did have his actual cat, so I doubt that's the case.
@@moogle68 kadyrovs photo of the cat is a bit yellowed so color isn't the best to go on since the white balance is probably off compared to an hbo production, and you're probably right, I'm just being gullible it was the lines in the cats forehead that got me, they seem to be spot on, along with the lines next to the cats eyes, however the eye lines on the cat John is holding seem to be more brownish than black like kadyrovs photo (again could be a white balance/color correction issue). But the similarities are sooo close. I guess I'm just surprised more people like me didn't fall for it. I remember when I saw this episode the night it aired and when he brought out the cat I was like "Holy S**T! he has his cat! How does he have his cat?!" lol never considering the he didn't actually have his cat until now. its fun to imagine though.
They aren't even the same color or race, in case you mean the meme JO posted in response. The lost cat looks more like a Bengal with the usual coat, even if it looks more like a domestic shorthair in the face. The one Oliver holds isn't even the same coat color nor is it even the same length of fur. If I see another thing you might have refered to, I'll update

I don't think youtube lets you schedule things to the second and Im pretty sure it wouldn't be a good use of time to ask someone to release these manually

@@philipreid2542 maybe so but working on a day you're supposed to be off just for half an hour of manually releasing videos given these are normally taped on saturdays at 1700 which is you know not sundays at 2300 when they normally release, asking someone to be up at that time to work is quite mean
