- All new Pokémon Scarlet & Violet spirit battles released to celebrate Super Smash Bros. Ultimate 5th Anniversary! This includes Koraidon & Miraidon, Ogerpon, Terapagos and Sprigatito, Fuecoco & Quaxly.
I really appreciate that Ogerpon's spirit battle has each Incineroar get sent out in the same order that Ogerpon uses its masks (Hearthflame -> Wellspring -> Cornerstone -> Teal)
No way! That's Kieran's favorite Pokémon! My favorite Pokemon are Terapagos, Ogerpon, (which is Kieran's favorite) Pikachu, Miraidon; I'm pretty sure all Pokemon, Legendary, Mythical, Paradox, or no, are on my list of favorites.

Why not Meta Knight going with Red → Navy → Dark Meta Knight → Green?
The opportunity was right there, plus Ogerpon wields a cudgel, which is like a sword.
Missed opportunity to have the Gold Squirtle drop with an invisible Ness or Lucas that doesn't attack but gets instant Final Smashes
I think Squirtle's final smash matches Tera Starstorm more.

I imagine an invisible Peach with instant Final Smashes protected by a Diddy Kong, a Duck Hunt and a Falco, all on a poison floor and your controls can get inverted

Freah New Faces spirit returned
I've had the Fresh New Faces and the Super Mario Bros. Wonder and Princess Peach Showtime spirits for a while now.
Also, I _FINALLY_ got the Power Pro-Kun Pocket, 13 Sentinel Pilots, and Zagreus spirits on Sunday.
Now I just need the Pokémon Scarlet and Violet spirits, and my collection will finally be complete.
As of 7/25/2024, I _FINALLY_ have _ALL_ 1528 spirits on the Spirit List.
The Pokémon Scarlet and Violet spirits _FINALLY_ showed up for me as soon as I booted the game and entered the Spirit Board.

i see what they did there having Kirby in Fuecoco's place, 1.the fire croc likes to eat stuff, and 2. there are memes of how it looks like a character from the Among Us game, so why not pick an alien to represent it.
You know, if they're going to add extra spirits for the games that came out post Sora, why doesn't Nintendo also update the Song list to add music from the games too
I'm worried that I missed these forever.
I kept using Shuffle All, All Primaries, and All Supports items, but they wouldn't show up.
Do they just not show up at all, or are they extremely rare?
They have to show up since the first event's spirits AND last event's spirits show up, right?

Both are Ace shield types
Both spirits debut in 2024
Both have Heavy Weight power
Both have reinforcemrnts
Why are Koraidon and Miraidon on Final Destination?
Frigate Orpheon would've made more sense because of the lab aesthetic.

Koraidon and Miraidon are hard, but I finally figured out, I have to use Pikachu special attacks.
These battles could've been a bit better. I mean Meta Knight was right there for Ogrepon and they went for Incineroar (Why?).

@AlphaPhoenix7959In fact, there are some Meta Knight skins that would’ve aligned well with Ogerpon’s Masks. They should’ve used a Red Meta Knight to represent the Hearthflame Mask, a Default Meta Knight to represent the Wellspring Mask, a Dark Meta Knight to represent the Cornerstone Mask, and a Green Meta Knight to represent the Teal Mask.

Freaking op legend spirit if you think fury bowser is op this is another great example speed boost crap ton of attack power massive use it to your full extent once you obtain it demon style makes it even stronger ❤

honestly i thought this was impossible, but this game always finds a way to prove me wrong
One day Meowscarada or possibly fully evolved grass starter Pokémon of gen 10 will join next smash game/smash ultimate deluxe port in the future.
It’s cool to see new Spirits based on Pokemon Scarlet & Violet, but the only nitpick I got is that there were some missed opportunities here and there.
First off, the Koraidon and Miraidon spirit battle’s fine, but I feel like they could’ve used a Red Yoshi that breaths fire instead of a red Charizard. Pokemon Scarlet & Violet has a past and future theme with the core legendary duo, and Yoshi is a Dinosaur that Mario rides on, so it would’ve been perfect for Yoshi to represent Koraidon to contrast with Ridley.
Secondly, for Ogerpon, Meta Knight was right there; it would’ve made a lot more sense to have Meta Knight represent Ogerpon than Inceniroar. They can also keep the transformation conditions that represents the different masks.
Terapagos’ Spirit Battle is good as it is, but I feel like they missed the opportunity to make the spirit itself capable of evolving into Stellar Form Terapagos. Perhaps it could evolve to have the Critical Fast Final Smash ability like the Geese Howard spirit does?
Finally, while the battle for the Sprigatito, Fuecoco, and Quaxly spirit is fine; but a Red Fire-Breathing King K Rool was right there to represent Fuecoco, considering that they’re both crocodilian creatures who eat a lot. Instead, we got another Kirby, who is just overused in terms of how many times he’s been a spirit battle enemy.
I think a red Bowser looks a lot more like Koraidon than Charizard
Maybe for Terapagos' ability it can be Jam FS Meter. Because in its boss fight it absorb the player's pokemons' terastal power, making it harder for terastalizing. Here it can be implemented as slowing down the opponents' FS meter, making it harder to get a final smash
Fantastic work at 4 new Spirits for Pokémon Scarlet and Pokémon Violet in Super Smash Bros. Ultimate! Keep it up.
I think the Koraidon & Miraidon Spirit was extremely hard then the Pauline spirit.
Koraidon and Miraidon will kick your ass.
It has been literal years since the last time I had to fight on an special terrain (electric in this case); Koraidon and Miraidon finally forced me to change my spirit set in a looong time.
Why there is Ogerpon but not Ceruledge and Armarouge

Because Ceruledge and Armarouge are run-of-the-mill Pokémon while Ogerpon is a legendary (I think). Wasn't it also like that with Pokémon Sword and Shield spirits? The starters and the legendaries?
