Nah, the ball is played backwards. But the panthers player is hanging on and trying to spin him around while their team gets back onside.
Ruck infringement its either 10 in the bin for a holding down after a line break, or its a try.
The ref decided that the play the ball is fine as the ball still goes backwards and not sideways.
Correct ruling: play on
