  • GPS works by getting data from minimum four satellites to find location and correct time offset. Accuracy improves further when it gets data from more satellites to find location. Relativistic time dilation effects have to be accounted to get good result. And in Global Positioning System, location of device is calculated by the device and not by satellite. All these are explained in simple language with animations in this episode.
