Can you do a video about the electricity requirements and what it's like to get that wired up?
For sure! It’s actually simple! They have 2 heaters. Smaller and bigger. Small needs 30 amps and the same plug as a washer. The larger needs 50 amps and similar plug. I don’t have the exacts right now (camping with the kids). But it’s a simple setup. 💯
Do you have any knowledge of an ice barrel 400 insulated version? I can only imagine that it’s in the works, and I am trying to hold off until then.

I know there is at least one vent in the sauna. Where is it located? Is there one vent or 2? Also, do you know if the cedar is thermally treated so it doesn’t warp? Thanks!!!
Excellent questions! There is definately vents and I believe it is thermally treated but I want to confirm. Yes, warp resistant Hemlock inside and Cedar exterior with insulation throughout. Vent is next to the low bench hip, you can see and read that all right here: DMJR.co/Plunge
What size would you go with? XL or Standard?
XL for sure if you plan on having anyone else in with you, but the standard is also great!

What’s the average lead time?
Right now they are just trying to fulfill the pre orders but the short term goal is inside of 6 weeks. They were ramping things up while I was there. Cool to see!
How hot does it actually get in there, it doesn’t look like it can hold 190 F
It gets over 220 quickly and pretty easily
Those doors will let out all the heat, they look cool but so much heat loss.
Not sure about that they seal pretty well in person.
Am I the only person who doesn’t want VOCs/rubber matts in my sauna at 220 degrees?
I’ve thought of that too but the temp at the floor is substantially lower
$12k for this is laughable.
I saw the video and went to the website to see the price. Then came here for this comment.
Barrel sauna from Costco (made by Almost Heaven), that does the same thing, $4K.

There was unfortunately nothing in this video to justify paying 3x the price of an imported Chinese product off Amazon. Their new Sauna is going to be a huge flop unless they cut the price in half.
