"Three times a week they went out to the greenhouses behind the castle to study Herbology, with a dumpy little witch called Professor Sprout, where they learned how to take care of all the strange plants and fungi, and found out what they were used for." It warms my heart to think that soon, young Neville Longbottom will learn that he is extremely talented at Herbology.
The Hogwarts greenhouses are where Herbology classes are taught at Hogwarts. Herbology is the study of magical and mundane plants and fungi, making it the wizarding equivalent to botany.
Herbology is a core class in which students learn to care for and utilize plants, learn about their magical properties and what they are used for. Many plants provided ingredients for potions and medicine, while others had magical effects of their own right.
Prof. Pomona Sprout was Head of Hufflepuff House and Head of the Herbology department at Hogwarts, and of course, the beloved Herbology teacher. I do love her no-nonsense approach to teaching and her earmuffs!
The greenhouses have statues of long, serpentine dragon statues running along the peaked roofs. They are home to many exotic and magical plants including some that are extremely rare, difficult to cultivate and maintain, or even dangerous, such as Mandrakes, Venomous Tentacula or Snargaluffs.
Dear traveler, welcome back to school! It's that time of year again to pick up some books and in this case, try not to get strangled by some plants..! But all jokes aside, the Hogwarts Greenhouse is such a soothing, comforting and magical place. How about a study session together right here?

I really like how the mood changes during night time with those shimmering effects and the windy sounds. The whole thing really gives me simular vibes to the Huflepuff Common room which might be my favourite ambience for studying

Beautiful Ambient sound, which lulled me to sleep right away. However, the loud advertisement five or six minutes in startled me back awake and now I can't go back to sleep. I would much prefer you have the ads at the beginning of the video so that we're free to fall asleep afterwards. Thank you so much.
