His voice sounds like a new element, a form of massive energy, he could still hit notes from 30 years ago, volume, expansion, range and techniques.
Cornell was unbeatable as a vocalist, not even Plant or Mercury could have mastered his voice so well.

Don't knock the crowd. It's real hard to mosh when you're 40. Bobbing your head is pretty much the best you can do, unless you're hitting the gym regularly. But they're loving Soundgarden. Who wouldn't?

I'm guessing that it's because it was part show, part Q&A, not the best environ to 'go wild'. Add to that, I'm sure plenty of grunge fans from the 90s have since gone on to make love to the 'machine' and become bankers, accountants, office drones etc.
