  • This video shows the rice terraces found in Hapao, Hungduan, Ifugao, Philippines. It also shows their traditional way of harvesting rice and the tool they use in harvesting. It is surprising to note that their tool called ''rakkem'' is bigger and wider than ours in Benguet.

    Our rakkem in Atok is not as wide as that, hehhe. I miss doing the ag ani ngem it seems i forgot how to use it already, hahhaha. Long long years na rin kasi kaya nakalimutan na.. 😁😁😁

      They don't use it because that is their way of harvesting that variety of rice. They usually use the traditional way. In some parts of the place, they use it because they don't plant that so called "tenawon" rice. Thanks for the comments and for the support.
