Chinese speaker here. Chinese has two written languages: traditional and simplified. Traditional is used in Taiwan, Hong Kong, and other Chinese majority nations, whereas Simplified is used in Mainland China exclusively.
Came here to say this as a non-Chinese speaking person, so thanks for saving me the time.

Yes printed in Japan
There are two different forms of Chinese characters, Traditional Chinese and Simplified Chinese.
Simplified is obviously based on Traditional Chinese, but designed to reduce the amount of strokes needed to write the characters. Thus Simplified.
Edit to mention that almost all Chinese writing that you see online is Simplified.

The quality of the Chinese cards is excellent! I think the slim packs typically have more hits in my experience. I got a box that had 2 full arts, a rainbow Leafeon, and the Umbreon V alt art
As other commenters have already said, simplified Chinese is the writing system used primarily in mainland China (People's Republic of China), while Traditional Chinese is the writing system used primarily in Taiwan (Republic of China).
After the People's Liberation Army won the Chinese Civil War in 1949, China adopted a simplified version of the Chinese writing system, which requires less strokes when writing. Traditional Chinese is the Chinese you may see on Taiwanese products, but most Chinese people living here the U.S. and Canada utilize simplified Chinese.

I can’t remember if they’re exactly 1 to 1 sets, because simplified Chinese was trying to catch up having just got pokemon cards recently. They were combining sets a bunch, releasing all the pokemon sets in some way.

Simplified refers to the Chinese characters. There is also traditional, which is has more brush strokes.
right and there are also 302 variations of the Chinese language.

Got back into Pokémon after the 151 set, these evolving skies has great artwork as well! Maybe I do these next after finishing my master set of 151
"Pokemon" in Chinese is 宝可梦 ( simplified Chinese) vs 寶可夢 ( traditional Chinese). Traditional you can see the 1st and 3rd characters have more strokes compared to Simplified. it's not a proper word but phonetic. Pronounced "bao ke meng" which sounds like Pokemon. Simplified Chinese version cards are for Mainland China while the Traditional Chinese cards are for Taiwan / Hong Kong market. love those reverses

So these are the Simplified Chinese sold in MAINLAND CHINA only. Not the traditional Chinese that are sold Taiwan & Hong Kong. The main thing you should know is that the BLISTER boxes do NOT guarantee a secret rare in a box and are only sold to big box distributers to be put in stores. The fat pack boxes DO guarantee a secret rare in a box and are sold to everyone as sealed boxes.

you were very lucky with the first two boxes lol. Also these sets are not exactly Fusion stike and Evolving skies. There a few cards missing and a few cards added.

The simplified chinese has different letters from the other chinese set if that makes sense lol and i believe these were manufactured in Japan. I opened 1 box of the jumbo evolving skies and these are actually very good quality cards.

I watch over 3000 of these being ripped (it was like watching a marathon with how fast they could open those blister packs) and no Umbreon. A couple days later they got more and finally pulled it. But just 1. Very few alt arts in general. I honesty think the pull rates may be worse than Evo Skies and that’s just 🤯. They are fun to open though and way cheaper than Japanese Eevee Heroes for sure. I can’t believe you got 3 Gengars in the same box. Weird. Thank you for the entertainment, love your facial expressions 😂. All love for CTR and the Hanger Gang 🫶🏻
