- This is my new Korg ModWave Soundset called "Analog Synth Selection" which gives you the opportunity to literally have 4 of the greatest old analog synthesizers implemented in your ModWave.
It contains multisamples of my old JP-8, Arp 2600, Prodigy and the Juno 106 and around 80 performance patches of all kinds of synth categories like pluck sounds, bells, pads, synth brass, arpeggios, sequences, strings, lead sounds etc.

Hi Maik! You've done a great job reprogramming for the ModWave. IMHO, in terms of sound quality, the ModWave is missing something that the WaveState has, but you've pushed the ModWave up to the same level. Kudos!👍I have both, so I will not resist the temptation to purchase this sound set too! 😀

Great job! It is interesting to have the same sounds from both machines. Would you say that the Wavestate is a superset of the Modwave for most practical purposes? Or in other words: given a choice between them, is the Wavestate the better choice unless you have specific need for Modwave?
That is so hard to say because the choice is very dependent on your needs. Wave Sequencing vs. Wavetables. The actual similarity is the ability to load custom samples
@@MaikSchott Thanks for the thoughts! I think they are so close to a single machine that could do "everything", e.g. add wavetables and Kaoss physics to the Wavestate... and then they would basically print money with that.
@@MauricioVives 😁 sure they could. Maybe the ModState is already in some secret boxes waiting to be let loose on mankind
