@@jake62265 Yes, her biological mother abused and abandoned her. She ended up in an orphanage at 3 years old and was adopted by an employee there, but spoke with a bad stutter and had to work with speech therapists. They suggested she take singing lessons as well to help her speech

She recently had a stint on the "Mask" tv series in Russia and gave us 9 performances, including 4 epic masterpieces, and 5 regular songs where she disguised her voice so well even fans couldn't tell it was her! She has worked hard expanding her upper register to balance her natural lows. I hope you continue your journey with Diana Ankudinova, she is incredible. :)

Diana recently finished performing on the Mask Show. On the first five performances, she disguised her voice so the performances didn’t attract much attention and I didn’t know the show existed. But then with the sixth performance, California Dreaming, she dropped the voice disguise and the next morning I knew about it on the other side of the world.

Dee-Ahh-nah is correct. You are right, Diana is one of one. Nothing like her voice in my lifetime. You should check out some of her newer, original music. It's very impressive as she is still studying at The Russian Institute of Theatre Arts and, for now, still a teenageer. Diana was 15 years old in this performance.
