Great tutorial! I really like the idea of the stund hidden down the beadwork! Love the finish work.

Hi Jewelia. It looks like you were getting used to using a new piece of video equipment? I’m not sure how long ago you made this video but I just now found it on Utube and I had to tell you that #1 - you did a fantastic job on teaching each step and #2 - the design is beautiful...!!! I have only been Beading for 2 years and I LOVE IT...!! And I’m so glad I found you on Utube!! I like designing my own projects but I love learning and watching others. And today you taught me how to attach a stud backing to a pair of gorgeous rivolis...!!! I love the crystal AB rivoli with the crystal AB 3mm rounds. And you did an awesome job of teaching this project!! Thank you so much and keep on designing and teaching sweet lady. You were terrific and so are the earrings...!!!!! Take care my new Beading Buddy and teacher. I look forward to more...!!! Susie 🤗❣️

Thank you for the wonderful tutorial. I wanted to comment that I (as well as many other beaders) use Fireline to weave these types of designs. We use 4 lb & 6lb weight which is very small. You may want to try it. Fireline works really well. I use it for weaving, bead embroidery and even loomwork and its stronger than Nymo. Beautiful design!

This is a great tutorial, thank you so much! Already made 3 pairs and am planning to make some more to give as holiday gifts (they were all supposed to be holiday gifts but...I fell in love with them :-p)! Because I don't wear post earrings, I just added a little bail on top of it and attached it to some ear wires-I think it looks good like that too! The design is very versatile and I like that you can add onto it and/or incorporate it into other, larger/more complex pieces. Thanks again for this great video!

Please post pic of earrings as-worn. I imagine that the angled post will optimize the surface effect of the rivoli? how lobg should the post be to go through an average ear libe and have room for a backing? Would it be beneficial to put glue on the earring post backing?

Hi, i start with beading and I have a question. When you make the first round of Beads, you make a knot at the End. Are theese Beads really tight together or loose? Do you change something there at the End? Are they loose and you make them tight at the End? And if they are really tight, is it possible to got through them with the needle? Thank you!

These are really pretty! Is it possible to use 8 mm rivoli and how many beads would you use on the bezel?

tinker bell Thank you for your comment!
I have yet to try on 8mm, but I did so on 14mm (on a slightly different design though). I used 18 pieces of 3mm bicones for 1st and 2nd rounds.
