Very fun map, 7/10 would recommend.
First try, I was soloing my masochist! Mik_Joe claimed a W. Also has solo maso coastal been done before? I can't seem to find if it has or not.
Lorem Ipsum is simply dummy text of the printing and typesetting industry. Lorem Ipsum has been the industry's standard dummy text ever since the 1500s, when an unknown printer took a galley of type and scrambled it to make a type specimen book. Lorem Ipsum comes from sections 1.10.32 and 1.10.33 of "de Finibus Bonorum et Malorum" (The Extremes of Good and Evil) by Cicero, written in 45 BC. This book is a treatise on the theory of ethics, very popular during the Renaissance. The first line of Lorem Ipsum, "Lorem ipsum dolor sit amet..", comes from a line in section 1.10.32.
The standard chunk of Lorem Ipsum used since the 1500s is reproduced below for those interested. Sections 1.10.32 and 1.10.33 from "de Finibus Bonorum et Malorum" by Cicero are also reproduced in their exact original form, accompanied by English versions from the 1914 translation by H. Rackham.

Hey KoronX, I never seen you do this so I’m not sure if you know.
But on Urban, you can stand on the osprey blade next to the garage to avoid cloakers. They can’t attack you up there. It’s very good for Cloaker Rush.
Yeah I am aware of this. You can do that on mansion platform and swamp osprey, too. I don't do it though as it's straight up cheating and cloaker rush is not really that bad to begin with anyway.

On cloaker rush urban you don't even need to cheese anything. You can just kill all of them from main camping spot @@speak-the-red-letters

@@speak-the-red-letters im guessing you'd be spec if you're gonna solo maso urban (I've don't it before). And shooting from main camping spot and airbusting enemies that get to close and spawning clouds is really easy for cloaker rush
I looked for a couple hours on youtube for masochist solo on coastal and the I main maps I see are dunes, archipelago, and epilogue so you may be the first to do it recorded or just the first in general.
Mik_Joe would be first. we did our runs side by side. The only maps that haven't been solod so far yet are from what I know, old city (too easy to care), mansion (?), and hydro.

@@Ryujji64coastal is alot less harder than you may think. It requires luck as usual but if you dont get hermes on sub 2 wave 10/dae sub 2 wave 10 than you should be fine. (if you're asking yes I have beaten coastal maso and did get sub 1 hermes. The trick to sub 1 hermes is to kill threats like jetpackers and snipers and sabs than kill hermes (don't start sub 2)
whats ur strat/tips for soloing maso coastal or any map?
Mainly patience and awareness along with good prioritization of enemies. First things first, having a teleporter is a life saver. Also when getting an upgrade you really have to wonder if the upgrade is necessary. For example, steel forge is a great weapon but I don't ever buy it since I don't really need it as burst rifle is already good and there are more important things to get like rpg for mech units. Being a recon main I tend to camp a lot, so finding good positioning is important. Enemies that you REALLY have to watch out for are mainly jetpackers, platforms, and ESPECIALLY saboteurs. I placed my building tp in a weird spot so saboteurs don't see it. Really depends what map and class you are doing, though.

Massive skill issue
I am very experienced have been playing the game for quite a while now. My standard for playing ranges between 200%-300% difficulty so masochist would be low end for me. To be honest, coastal is actually surprisingly not that bad. It's really slept on. Definitely harder than archipelago, but not super hard.

Check the description for a hell mode one. It's basically like the dvn main discord since mgc kind of drowns out dvn content now.
