If you want them like McD's, coat the inside of the ring with butter, add a small bit of water to the pan after you drop in the egg and lance the yolk, and put a lid on it so the egg steams from the top and cooks all the way through.
I am a fan of the eggy ring. We have two of them for our breakfast sandwiches. I usually spray the ring with cooking spray, and I do flip the egg halfway through. The eggy isn't needed obviously when flipped. Hope things are well!
Yeah, I bought the exact one and the egg slips out from underneath all over the pan. Worthless. I wish I had not thrown away the package and the receipt or I would get my money back.
If you're going to tout this as a tutorial as to how to emulate how McDonald's does their eggs, then show how they do it. It's frustrating when you keep saying, it's your choice, do it how you like. By the way, following your video, the eggs taste nothing like McDonald's.

Cool tip! Thanks!
Bought one a few days ago and used it for the first time this morning. Love it!
Love it! An idea the world has been waiting for! I cook my 2 eggs with the Eggys and olive oil!

2:31 I mean, are we all just gonna ignore the fact that that egg was burned hard on the bottom while being barely done on top?
You know who cares about how someone else likes their eggs? No one but you, Karen.

Sounds like you got a defective one. It can happen. Mine works perfectly. See if you can exchange it.

Sure thing. I'll run right out and buy a pro kitchen grill and an eight egg mold so you don't have to find it right here on CZcams.
