3:13 great explanation starts from here.
I’ve never had luck with my chocolate staying warm in a plastic bowl. I use a double boiler in a glass bowl. Metal bowl works well too.
Very helpful! Thank you
Thank you so much for posting this video. While I did not have the griddle that you had, I used a crock pot and it worked great as well. I appreciated all of the tips you gave along the way.
Did you put the bowl inside the crock pot? Interesting. I think it would feel awkward for me because it's such a deep pot.
Thank you for the griddle/Tupperware tip! You read my mind! My problem solved! I was wondering what would keep my chocolate smooth!

Small Fairy Tales against a wall...?
Not everyone's got a griddle ms bougie🤣
You seem like a very sincere and lovely person. Having said that you’re giving out very bad advice... It’s actually a fire hazard. (Dishtowels on an electric griddle on your counter-top, keep the fire extinguisher handy! 😳🙄🤦🏻♀️) I have two words for you “Fondue Pot”. My second bit of advice is; Never dunk anything your Truffles (Or anything else) that’s right out of the fridge... If it’s too cold, it will make the “chocolate coating” solidify too quickly, before the excess chocolate has the chance to drip off.
I appreciate your opinion. I would hope that people who leave a towel on their griddle are actively working and don't leave the machine alone (just like you wouldn't leave the stove when cooking).
So I should leave the truffles out for a bit before dipping?
wouldn't the warm coating counteract the cold truffle?
the easiest way is to use tooth picks
My truffles just melted when I dipped them, and then the melted chocolate quickly hardened so it basically ruined them. What a waste. 😩
truffles need to be kept cold, even if you have to work in batches. I sympathize. My thanksgiving treats were trashed.
