  • The South End neighborhood of Charlotte, NC, is a very popular section of the city, known for its numerous dining establishments of all types, and a number of art galleries.
It also features an old mill building from the 1800s, known as Atherton Mill, which was one of Charlotte's first textile mills. Today, you can walk through the historic brick building to discover fresh coffee, hand-cut flowers, artisan shops, and more, or hang out on the patio and watch the light rail pass as the sun sets over the skyline.
It also features a Farmer's Market every Saturday!

Loved looking at the skyline and streets of Charlotte. Ice cream looked yummy. I love all your videos. I love the country life too.

I don't blame you. And yes, Charlotte certainly has changed and has grown rapidly.

We go to Charlotte for dinner now and then. Thank you for showing me a couple places I wasn’t aware of.

You're very welcome. Glad you enjoyed it.
Curious if you have tried Farenheit, in Charlotte? They are supposed to have some good city views.

@@NCMemoryMakers have not eaten at that restaurant. Must look it up for our next dinner.

@Kathi Meadows We just heard about it over the weekend. I think it's pretty upscale and expensive. But it's supposed to provide some really nice views of the city.

I lived in Charlotte when I was going to college there. I enjoyed it for the most part and would do it again in the right neighborhood. I prefer suburbia though because I value my own green space to grow. That ice cream looked so good and will definitely be a stop on my next trip there.

Sure does make me appreciate our quaint historic area! We also live 1 mile from a beautiful pristine beach. Yes, some businesses tourism here, but still lovely. 😊

Yes, the city life is not for me, and it does give one an appreciation for the areas away from the big city.

The food looked good, that chicken was enough for two sandwiches. The chalkboard was a neat way to advertise your channel

Yes, that piece of chicken was huge. Probably the biggest I've ever seen on a sandwich.
