So glad you brought Lenda on Dennis! I am 53 right there with you guys, and in the magazine's we only saw the men and women in those few days around a show. It was rare if a picture happened to slip out of anyone in the off season. It was hard for guys like me who got most of our information from magazines and thought everyone walked around in contest condition year round. What a shame that all the photos of Lenda that we saw at the time were her in such a depleted state. I watched this whole thing and most of the time I listen because I couldn't stop looking at Lenda! What a beautiful lady! and forget about age at any age that is just one beautiful woman! Then put on top of that her knowledge and class! She answered some tough questions truthfully and when she explained herself, you just can't not agree with her. We need to see more of Lenda, still healthy and beautiful after having been at the top of a sport that can just tear women up in the end.
She is and remains FOR EVER the UNMATCHABLE QUEEN of the game✨👑✨, she embodied ALL THE CRITERIA in a magic formula, with a marvellous smiling and a class never touched by anyone. I’ve been mad ‘’bout her from day one TONS of magazines&papers&posters- still a huge fan and follower - and God bless Her to be a precious gift for the game and industry. I remember watching her video Interviewing Dorian Yates in 1995.. She was (feminine for a female bodybuilder) a Gorgeous & beautiful lady.. Still is.
She is feminine for any woman let alone someone who is as lean as she is ans was especially.

Chris, thank you for mentioning Denise Rutkowski. She deserves a star! I remember her from Huntington Beach and at the USA 93 in Santa Monica where I went to support my boy Dennis Newman and you ended up winning the overall and Denise winning the women's and was on fire as a pro, scaring the heck out of Lenda at the 93 Ms. O. .. What a tragic story she was!

@@michaelhayes6209 She had no Early on or Later on in her career. She only competed for 4 or 5 yrs total including half a year as a Pro. She did tend to get big in the off season.

Female bodybuilding and yes I include figure and physique there too is so under appreciated. Lenda Murray, Cory everson, iris Kyle, shanique grant, Cidney Gillon and I can go on are unfathomably good athletes with flex wheeler level aesthetic physiques. How many guys can you just list off like that who have Flex wheeler levels of aesthetics? Basically flex and maybe a few others.
I love bodybuilding and wether you're a man or woman doing it matters a lot less than the physique you can develop imo.

@@steelearmstrong9616 I'll say the same thing to anyone saying "oh a professional bodybuilder only looks like that because if steroids". Sure they are probably on steroids but that's not the only reason they look the way they do. Just like Lenda Murray looks great today at 60years old not mainly because of plastic surgery while the main reason is more likely because she's stayed healthy and not fucked her facial features to hell and back with anabolics abuse.
It's kinda disrespectful to go and say someone looks good because of plastic surgery or steroids or whatever without crediting what obviously is a conscious effort to look that way.

Lenda, I was standing right next to you one time a few years back at some major show ( Arnold or Olympia) when the door man wouldn't let you in because you didn't have a ticket. I said "Dude you literally have no idea who she is? She's a multiple Ms. Olympia winner. show some respect" and the door man was like " Well, anybody can say that...." You ended up saying "its fine. Ill just pay." Ill never forget that. Thought that was just awful.

One thing I will never say and that’s that I just wanna see a new champion because I’m tired of seeing the current one. Unless someone can absolutely beat the current champion I don’t care if they win 20 Olympias,not for new faces new this and that if the current champion is the best on that day they should leave as the champ no matter what. As a judge panel I would never dethrone a champion just because I think they’ve won enough or the way her face looks
