In this video I'll discuss the pros and cons of having long hair, what I used to maintain it and why I finally decided on cutting it. It's been a long journey and I'm excited to share my story with you all.

Let me say I think the reason you decided to cut your hair was nice. I'm 70 years old. I've grown my hair out maybe 4 times in my life. I'm growing it long now. It started when COVID hit and all the shops closed down. This time I want to see exactly how long it will get. At my age, I'm just lucky to have hair to grow and that's why I hesitate to cut it. It's easy when you're young to say you can always grow it back. You assume you have plenty of time. But when you're my age, you start wondering about how much time you have to grow it back.
Love it, yes definitely feel lucky - a lot of men struggle with hair loss lol. I plan on growing it out again when I have a son.

man, i was growing mine for 1 year and 3 months, last week i decided to get the sides shaved, without cuting the hair of the top of the head. It was a bad decision, it is looking horrible, i'll probably have to get another haircut and then start growing it again, it will take about 6 months to it start looking good again, and 10 months to it start looking as good as it was before i had the laterals shaved. I'm feeling horrible, since i cut it i'm having difficult to sleep and to eat. (Sorry for the bad english)

I also had 3 years without cutting my hair, it was as high as my nipples. In May of this year, I cut it at shoulder height, but it has already grown a few cm. I have considered it quite a lot to cut it out and adopt a style that I have come to like. I still feel pretty insecure because my hair is what makes my self-esteem. And I kind of feel like just with long hair I'm pretty and stylish, you know?

I’ve been growing my hair out since summer 2018, I really want to cut it but I’m so nervous. I also have the same plans to donate it to somebody less fortunate than I am.
I’ve been growing my hair out for almost three years and I’ve always had the plan to donate it. I’m lowkey wicked scared, but I know someone needs my hair more than I do. It’ll probably be cut within a month
From 2018-2020, I grew my hair long. Then, in December 2020, I got tired of having long hair, so I cut it short, and donated it to locks of love less than a month later
Long hair isn’t really more maintenance. From experience with both, it’s more like a trade off. Also depends on the look you want to achieve.

I know how you feel bro! I grew attached to my hair and didn’t want to cut it at first, but when I finally did, I didn’t have any regrets at all. Just know that you can always grow it back. That’s the best part.

I’ve just kept it short on the sides (mid-fade) and long on the top (inch off the top) for styling. It’s an easy go to.

I had my last haircut back in February 2021 and it's October 2022. My hair now reaches just below my shoulders.
It killed me to watch that incredibly beautiful hair being hacked away. I would have paid a fortune for those silken tresses you held up at the end.

You had beautiful long hair and I'm sorry you cut it. I think those "charities" that say they make wigs for cancer patients and for children with alopecia may not be honest. From what I read recently, they actually use synthetic hair now. But who knows the truth? Anyway, I think you should grow your hair back!

PS. I chipped my hair to 0 with a razor blade. 4 years back. This time to.. 25 th of an inch. There was no maintenance for a long time. You can pull it off and look good with a military cut as well.
