    Thank you so much for inspiring others with those great Ideas with this prototype.
    Would be also nice to have a list of those special parts needed which you have to get in a Model shop or online and can't hardly be gathered form recycled parts.
    But if one observes and researches well, you can find those parts with proper names in the net as well.
    We love to try the grass cutter, but suggest a 45° elbow and longer handle could be handier for some bigger persons, plus at least a extra handle around the middle or the right side, the security switch may have to be placed in there also or on the main handle where the other, left hand holds it.
    For the bottom metal bow protectors, a bit a half -3/4 circular shape could be better, as to avoid hitting rocks in spaces where your not sure whys under the grass, as well as hitting grassy piles and prevent shaving them off, will save you correcting and sharpening the blade more than necessary.
    Keep being creative and don't forget to try out other versions as to perfect them ;-)

    I am one who has often had to make something from bits'n'pieces and therefore know the significance of what you have shown in your videos. It is very enjoyable to see a young bloke have such an understanding about how things work. Good on you young fellow. Only criticism that I have is, sharpen your drills. Other than that, you have compiled a series that I am sure that many folks will learn a great deal from. Keep creating ! Cheers, Trev.

    If you create a form-mold for special designs (like curved tube, etc.), then a simple heat gun can make PVC pliable to be worked like soft wax, re-hardening when it cools. You can also use thick gloves and heated sand (VERY hot sand) to keep the PVC flexible to re-form it. Simply heat the sand in a pot, cap one end of the pvc tube, pour the hot sand down the pvc tube, then lay it into the form-mold to make the shape you desire (making the form-mold from plywood is great, and you can use a saw or router to make your molds), then once you've laid the pvc filled with hot-sand into it, simply unplug the pvc tube and pour the hot sand out. The pvc will cool, and it will take the form forever. NO MORE GLUE JOINTS!!!! Form your PVC, stop hacking it with joints!

    @billybracewell2893 Před 6 lety

    Awesomely creative. great pump idea. ummm. you have more money in parts for the compressor than a pancake compressor costs at harbor freight. But made out of low grade pvc conduit. next time use schedule 50 white PVC and caps. use a 250-300 psi tire pump from HF (about a $10.00 cheapee). The schedule 50 can take up to 450 psi safely. Be sure to use cleaner/prep before PVC glue. PVC 'glue' is really an acetone gel suspension. it actually melts the PVC and welds the joint as it evaporates. slowly rotate the caps as you push them on they will bind and stop. that's it. it is welded. let sit for about 30 minutes before going for the pressure test.Also, instead of thread tape. just put pvc glue on threads. the acetone gel will soften and form the threads right into the pvc for an air tight seal.
