Could be wrong, but I'm that last clip with all the casualties I think it was just a training exercise. The saw didn't have any rounds in it and all the m4s had blue training mags. Might explain the more nonchalant attitudes of everyone

I’m going into marine corps infantry soon and I have watched your videos for at least a year as well as many other military centered channels but you guys taught me a lot from just watching your videos that could help me as well as it helped me talk to both army and marine corps recruiters and come to a conclusion thank you very much and I love all your videos and you guys are a some of the few influential people I look up to every day so thank you guys and I think your awesome 🤘

I know very little about the SOF community but PJs seem super underrated to me. You don't see them in the movies or on TV often but from what I've read those guys are tough as hell
An Infantryman here. The 240s weren’t talking because they didn’t have visible targets to engage. No targets, no need to waste ammo. We never know how long a firefight will last.
@@SAVAGEActual Awesome. I just got my Index VR setup this week. With current ammo prices, this is a much cheaper way to shoot. And as a former AF linguist on the RC-135 and EC-130, I agree, flying is much preferred.
One of the reasons I love savage actual is the fact they genuinely seem to be having fun while watching these and it’s actually entertaining on like a lot of other videos where they are just doing it for views and are faking all of the reactions.
Yo Patrick & Jason there's a bar in Coronado called McP's. It's owned by an ex Navy SEAL and the DEVGRU types go there to hang out sometimes. Supposedly this is the bar where Jesse Ventura and Chris Kyle got into their infamous dispute. It's on my bucket list to go there and have a beer someday. Maybe Savage Actual could go there and do a review of it. Just an idea. Cheers, guys :)
I think that last video looked a lot like some kind of live fire training shit. IDK though. They were all just, "eh, well, no biggie". That terrain could be Hunter Ligget , Nevada, Bliss, Huachuca, or even WSMR.

Sure that final clip wasn't a training exercise? I mean, they had blue mags (19:29), a lot of PJ's on the ground, a lot of guys with go-pro's standing in the open on a ridge (17:05), a guy without body armor (20:36), could be just a training exercise in-country.

Found out these M224 60MM mortars can be fired from either a drop fire mode (conventional method) or trigger fire mode (conventional or hand-held method). Explains the delay I was talking about earlier. Learn something new everyday.
Got a question for you guys. Do veterans like being thanked? I've heard that most do not like it. Where I work idk if I should say "thanks for your service" to WWII to Nam vets?
I think when the PJs were taking off it was a different group in training. The guys loading on to the Blackhawk had blue magazines in their weapons. and black shirt was just chilling and watching.

Didn’t see a single dog with a head in its mouth, my disappointment is immeasurable and my day is ruined.
The last clip looks like an STX for MEDEVAC or Mass Casualty incident, the bright blue mags means they were using Sim rounds (which hurt like hell)

The first scene was an ODA. Kapisa province Afghanistan. It was a 3rd group team. One of the best teams I have worked with

That's a Mk 48 he's shooting in the first clip. It's a saw but built to take 7.62. Regiment uses them a lot.
