for those who are, for whatever reason, struggling with the bonewalker phase, here's some tips to make it an absolute joke (so much so that you can actually beat it without having the sound on)
-Set the graphics to "Manual" mode and turn it all the way down to 1. This'll get rid of a lot of the fog and make it extremely easy to spot the Bonewalker and any of the artifacts. (tbh i don't really use the lantern thanks to this)
-Stay close to the edges of the map at all times unless you need to grab an artifact, and go in a circle around the map. Although he is attracted towards collected artifacts and broken sticks, you can simply sprint if needed so he doesn't get close to you.
-Make sure that you know where the Bonewalker is at all times, and try to keep a distance away from him. Since he's your only threat, it should be somewhat easy to track where he is.
-Keep in mind that where artifacts spawn is based on RNG. If any of them are somewhat far away from you, make sure to keep a good distance away from the Bonewalker before you grab them so you don't get spotted. Thankfully it isn't difficult to sprint towards an artifact while he chills on the other side of the map lmao
-If the Bonewalker is camping on an artifact for whatever reason, step on any sticks that are nearby you and run away to another area. Once he's away, grab the artifact.
-The Bonewalker will simply despawn upon getting all 6 artifacts, so just head to the summoning circle at the center without fear and place all of the artifacts. You don't need to hold the interact button for this unlike the artifacts, just tap the button for all 6 circles.

I mean this event is really easy but if you need help on phase 1 there’s a hidden healing item in the bushes behind you

Here is a tip: Every time after you collect a artifact or hear footsteps check your right, left, front , back. If you just run after you hear footsteps u might encounter him. So just check you have a chance of seeing him in the fog.

Good fact to know: when you collect the 6th artifacts and hyperdust starts talking bonewalker despawns so when you do that you pretty much just beat it

How to beat bonewalker first try.
1. Turn brightness up
2. Gained the ability to see where bonewalker is moving
3. Makes event 10X easier
2.5: Leave the graphics at minimum
I use graphic to 1 and i can see everything also some reason hyper did not give me the lanterns

Cuz they will remove frog/lantern when you play “remember the past”
Tips : if you are suck at bone circle [ phase 1 ], you will have to be aggressively attack sans but beware of gaster blaster or triple gaster blaster [ if you don’t see the blaster for a long time, then the triple blaster can behind you or in front ]
You can also use head phones to listen from which side The Bonewalker is walking from.
Ngl your your video showed me the bonewalmer jumpscare video for the first time
When i did the event, it took me, i kid you not, 51 attempts to beat the first part, not even going into it blind. (Would have loved to know about that healing item sooner) but when i went to the second part, i beat it first try without realising you could highlight things with the lantern, because bonewalker is so slow in his patrolling and i am a tactical coward.

Guys listen. There one tip can help you with first phase. Try to make bone zone far from Sans. It seems really weird, but it can help with some awful situational combos.

Here is a funny thing when you get all artifacts on bonewalker part: Bonewalker dissapears if you get all the artifacts

Infact, it already did. If you carefully watch, nearly every showcase video/picture has 3DBB sans, or bone walker’s picture flickering. There’s also many 3DBB sans hiding in pictures. You should see them.
They’re really hard to spot tho. One might be as small as 10 pixels. Or lower.

I somehow managed to run in circles around the map and make bonewalker stuck in the fog making the entire phase easier

When you beat 3dbb sans in the fight then leave and go in the event again and collect the icecream cone then load ur progress and once you do that and you talk to hyperdust you won’t get a lantern and instead there will be no fog/darkness and you can find the artefacts easier and avoid the bonewalker easier
FUN FACT (ping this if you want to literaly skip phase 2 completly)
At the slanderman part of the fight if you have the graphics at 1, The fog is completly gone, im legit speedruned it, Im didnt run into him a single time because im could actually freaking see him, Have fun with this cheesing
