  • Billy Keita - lead djembe
    Sekou Keita - sangban
    Djoumet Camara - dununba
    Billy Camara - kensedeni (kenkeni)
These guys live, play, and teach in Sangbarala.
They start w Denabendunun (some call this "Lafe")
    Denadon comes in at 4:24
Back to Denabendunun @10:37 w "Wadaba" song
    Back to Denadon @12:17 w/song
When Djoumet, on dununba, is demonstrating variations for Denabendunun, he drops a bell at 3:01, 2x's in a row, then again @ 3:21, so if you're playing along you will be in a different spot at these times in reference to the down beat. just an fyi.
Overall this is a great teaching tool and jam session in one! Enjoy!

Since we're picking this up in class, this video would be worth watching again (and again!) Esp the transition at 4:23.
