I've tried a lot of mechanisms, and yes, I'm using the IR robotics mod to control it. The Breaking Ground DLC part with FAR does not have enough power. I uploaded F-22N at kerbalX, amd it has same mechanism with f-14 solution. So, give it a try!

That was FAR's old problem. You may try disabling the features from the FAR settings, but then it makes no sense to install FAR 🥲
