Compressed charcoal (black)

A lot of work went into this study but overall very happy with the results and very much enjoyed the process :)

Of course, the great grandfather of a friend, who was part of the Irish revolution back in 1920s which resulted in a free state/ republic. Currently en route to hang in his bar in Spain :) Fantastic piece, and a joy to do it on a big scale, especially working from an old b&w image. Try'd to keep that esthetic :) Nice one Beverly, btw i'm heading to KL in a few days, wont be Guinness more like bubble tea :)
