St. Josephine Bakhita said if she were to meet her captors she would fall on knees and kiss their hands, because it was through them she came to know Christ. That is why I chose her to be my confirmation saint.

Forgiveness thus does not mean treating someone as if they had never sinned. That would require us to let go of our reason as well as our anger.
The Church acknowledges this principle. In his encyclical Dives in Misericordia, John Paul II notes that the “requirement of forgiveness does not cancel out the objective requirements of justice. . . . In no passage of the gospel message does forgiveness, or mercy as its source, mean indulgence toward evil, toward scandals, toward injury or insult. In any case, reparation for evil and scandal, compensation for injury, and satisfaction for insult are conditions for forgiveness” (DM 14).
    Preemptive Forgiveness?
We aren’t obligated to forgive people who do not want us to. This is one of the biggest stumbling blocks that people have regarding the topic. People have seen “unconditional” forgiveness and love hammered so often that they feel obligated to forgive someone even before that person has repented. Sometimes they even tell the unrepentant that they have preemptively forgiven him (much to the impenitent’s annoyance). Catholic Answers - The Limits of frogivenss

Are you going to Heaven? How righteous are you really?
The Holy Bible says “ As it is written, There is none righteous, no, not one” (Romans 3:10). Again, God’s word says “ But we are all as an unclean thing, and all our righteousnesses are as filthy rags…” (Isaiah 64:6).
In other words you are not righteous enough for Heaven. Your own good works will not get you to Heaven. Your church, baptism, priest/pastor, etc. cannot get you to Heaven.
What will get you to Heaven? Only the righteousness that we receive by the Lord Jesus Christ and faith in his shed blood alone.
The Holy Bible says “For he [God the Father] hath made him [God the Son, Jesus Christ] to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him” (2 Corinthians 5:21). Again, God’s word says “ But he [Jesus Christ] was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed” (Isaiah 53:5).
Christians are justified (having all their sins forgiven and having the very righteous of Christ given to us) solely by faith (complete trust) in the Lord Jesus Christ.
“Therefore being justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ” - Romans 5:1
Admit that you are a lost sinner headed for Hell
Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ
Call upon the name of the Lord and thou shalt be saved
"For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God" - Romans 3:23
"But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us. Much more then, being now justified by his blood, we shall be saved from wrath through him." - Romans 5:8-9
"That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved." - Romans 10:9
"[Jesus Christ] In whom we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of his grace" - Ephesians 1:7
"For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast." - Ephesians 2:8-9

What’s your congregation out of the 40,000+ of them who claim to believe or have faith on the Lord Jesus Christ? Watch EWTN, the Journey home program please, to learn more about your faith from your own pastors and ministers in CZcams who converted or came home to their mother, the Catholic Church. Educate yourself please before you open your mouth. Thanks

@@weinigselassie5698 The Roman Catholic Church was never my mother. It was created in 325 AD when paganism mixed with Christianity. True Christians have always and will always only follow the Holy Bible as their sole authority.
Regardless, the Bible is clear, you need the very righteousness of Christ himself to enter Heaven. Your own righteousness or righteousness found in your church won't cut it.
I KNOW I'm going to Heaven, not because I've done anything special or I'm somehow more worthy than someone else, but because the Bible tells me whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.
"He that hath the Son hath life; and he that hath not the Son of God hath not life. These things have I written unto you that believe on the name of the Son of God; that ye may know that ye have eternal life, and that ye may believe on the name of the Son of God." - 1 John 5:12-13

@@RealBobEvans Trust in Jesus Christ, the Redeemer, the Saviour, the Son of God! He established the Holy Catholic Church to protect His flock here on earth. This is His Church. Trust Him.
He gave us His own beloved Mother to love us, to protect us, to lead us to Him. He gave us His Mother! That is called love with a capital "L". And, at the same time, He gave US to His blessed Mother. I'm sure you know that already. You know that already but you deny that TRUTH because you are DECEIVED by Satan.
And don't give me that BHULLSIT about the Catholic Church being "created in 325 A.D. when paganism mixed with Christianity" (your words). This is the language of Satan.
If you have two brain cells you'll realize how downright stupid you're coming across as. I suggest you go back to school and take a basic course in logic and reasoning.

@@lalaheart76 I love Roman Catholics too much to remain silent. Thousands of people are dying each day and going to Hell for all eternity (purgatory isn't an option because it doesn't exist). Roman Catholics are very religious, but religion doesn't save you. Roman Catholics acknowledge that Jesus is Lord, but this head knowledge doesn't save you.
"Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works? And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity." - Matthew 7:22-23
Notice how the people calling Jesus Lord professed to do many works in his name, but they were never born again. They never truly placed their faith 100% in the shed blood of Jesus Christ on the cross of Calvary. Their faith was elsewhere. Perhaps in their baptism or the Eucharist.
Jesus said ye must be born again!
"Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God." - John 3:3
The Roman Catholic church will tell you that this happens when an infant is baptized, but that's not true. Being "born again" is a Spiritual rebirth. It's when a repentant sinner realizes that they are lost and puts their faith in Jesus Christ ALONE. Faith in the Bible means to trust Christ fully and only. You cannot trust Christ while also trusting your church, baptism, works, etc.
"That we should be to the praise of his glory, who first trusted in Christ. In whom ye also trusted, after that ye heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation: in whom also after that ye believed, ye were sealed with that holy Spirit of promise" - Ephesians 1:12-13
"Knowing that a man is not justified by the works of the law, but by the faith of Jesus Christ, even we have believed in Jesus Christ, that we might be justified by the faith of Christ, and not by the works of the law: for by the works of the law shall no flesh be justified.: - Galatians 2:16
May God bless you and I pray you receive the truth of God's word.
