I love how he fights like a bot for all the bosses, but when he gets to demise he switches on god mode and destroys him faster than a bokoblin.
Ikr
Character development
Pretty badass imo
Bro wasn’t using even 1% of his power until he got to demise that’s when he use a whole 2%
"canon zelda gameplay"
So, Let Me see...
Scaldera Weak Point: The eye.
Moldarach Weak Point: The Eyes.
Tentalus Weak Point: The eye.
Levias Weak Point: The Eyes.
Bilocyte Weak Point The eye.
Yep, definitely an Old School Zelda game.
What is it that Nintendo has against eyes and hands?
You know I noticed that too lol
Majoras mask 3ds bosses: EYES
Literally any one eyed enemy in Zelda weak point: the eye
Hinoxs: *The eye*
If only we had more villains like Ghirahim and Zant in the Zelda franchise. Those two are my absolute favorites.
Also Yuga
Koloktos is hands down one of the best boss fights ever imo. I felt hella accomplished beating him.
He is devastating too for his looks.
I love the boss music so much too.
Absolutely, perhaps the best Zelda boss.
Very crever.
Unlike most 3 D Zelda bosses, he's pretty difficult and intimidating if you're used to normal bosses where you use the dungeon item and finish them with your sword.
You gotta use the item but you have to destroy him with his own blades on second phase. The first phase isn't easy because you gotta dodge his boomerang after destroying his 2 arms and then strike him with your sword many times to get to phase 2 and phase 2 is just epic when he gets like 6 swords and still has his freaking boomerang. Pretty hard but fun.
Very stressing because I had 1 hearth left and was rrant8cally running near the pillars until I had a chance to pick up his sword to finish him up.
He's no pushover that's for sure.
And he's difficult which is nice for a changé in a 3 D Zelda game.
I love all Zelda games but the bosses all look badass bu5 are usually a walk in the park.
I love Ghirahim.
That first cutscene with Ghirahim is legendary
Yeah and funny 😆
And kinda gay
@@Thereallumbago i agree and that’s what I like about him
@@chocobocloudstrife5697 ...
Wtf
@@Thereallumbago how?
Ghirahim: I’m very busy. I don’t have time for you Link.
Also Ghirahim: Waiting for you so he can activate Koloktos.
FR
Ahh yes, my favorite boss: Lava mike wazowski with more legs
And Big sally
Almost forgot my second favorite
It looks like as if Mike and his girlfriend had a baby
Lol I said the same thing
I like that boss cause he’s ez to defeat
Ghirahim is creepy but he’ll always be one of my favorite villains.
He's really dramatic but yeah me too
You have poor taste
He’s yummy.
The plot twist would be that Ghirahim is straight
Well, he's a straight sword at least.
@@sephikong7880yeah...after showing Link his nylon gloves 🤣
Anyway thank you
@@sephikong7880 I would like to point out the bumps and curves making up the main piece- 😳
@@crowsartcorner9381 yeah, that's just puberty.
@@sephikong7880 pfft. Understandable, have a nice day.
I must be the only person that struggled with the Imprisoned. I don't know why, but that second fight against it took me like 10 tries to beat.
You're not the only one who have struggled with the second fight I too had a hard time against it
I dont know how but I managed to do the second fight with only 1 heart
Took me twice to beat his second form, even though the first and third felt more tedious than challenging.
It even took me two tries to beat the second form trying to get the Hylian shield. Really annoying
It took me 6 so ye
I’m only on the 2nd one but i was panicking when it began to climb and i was like “wait wtf do i do” then i realized “OH”
Really glad Aonuma raised the framerate cap. Seeing these fights in 60fps is awesome, and probably a dream to play with motion controls. Can't wait to grab this remake.
I find it easier to play with the motion controls. Fighting with the right stick is a pain, personally.
@@Kristen242008 for me its the other way around
Oh I remember playing this on the Wii back then and getting sore arms after lol.
Remaster not a remake lol
The game just came out and people already finished, I just got it yesterday and I’ll enjoy it for many hours, days and weeks, I couldn’t be a speed runner kind of gamer
Oh me too I just finished the game yersteday
Oh btw this game is older then a lot of kids it’s a port not a new game
@@firebug69 I know, I played it on the Wii, my point was that nowadays there are many speed runners that finish a game in less than a day just to post it on CZcams and get views, in my opinion I couldn’t enjoy a video game if I were a speed runner
@@jmml1 I know speedrunning is cool once you’ve mastered the game, but when you first play a game just take your time and enjoy.
Skyward sword has some of the best boss OSTs in the series. The overall theme sounds so good. A big orchestra accompanied by the more digital sounding sounds link produces.
49:18 I'll admit it, the third part of The Imprisoned battle was a bit faster compared to the other two since we didn't have to hit the nails on its feet to knock it down and smack the sealing spike on its head.
The major downside is that after the second time and it flies up to the temple again is we only have one shot to be a human cannonball and be launched. Otherwise, it's over.
yepppp i failed bc i didn't know link was going to be the cannonball. and i also came up to the wrong side of the map hahaa
Yeah I watched my brother for over and hour trying to figure out what to do. You tube wasn’t as reliable back in 2012 when he got to that fight. He finally figured it out later though
Not really, if you miss the Grossinator shot, your actual final chance is the center-most updraft that's where the sealing spike typically is. Stand in it before it opens up, then you can skydive onto his head and finish him that way.
I honestly didn't know you could launch yourself out of the Groosenator on the third Imprisoned fight, I just waited for him to get all the way up then used the updraft in the center to get all the way up to his head and then slammed the sealing spike back into his skull
The second ghirahim fight is difficult in hand held mode. Hard to get past his defenses with the joystick. My favorite boss fight so fare is Koloktos. First Zelda boss that offers a real challenge even when you know how to beat him.
I find it easier with stick clothes trolls. I played the majority of the game in a car, and it is a lot harder to play in hand held mode, but stick and motion controls are just preference, and both work just as well. If anything, motion controls are more immersive but much more finicky, and stick controls are more reliable but can be more complicated
@@Ryan-oy8lg I take back what I said about the button controls. I tried the motion controls on switch and they suck. Plus I figured out what I was doing wrong in the Ghirahim fight.
@@dcb6729 yeah, just saw this reply. I beat the full game and 100% hero mode with stick controls. Couldn’t even do the first boss with motion
not to mention his boss fight is so fucking satisfying, prove me wrong
This was one of the games that I enjoyed playing as a kid. But I was creeped out in the end when ghirahim was performing a ritual for awakening demise
You're a snowflake bro
I get it. Seeing the villain succeed in their plans is jarring, to say the least. But considering that you absolutely wreck Demise, it'll all be fine.
Everybody says Kolotos is the best but I personally love demise and tentalus
Tentalus sucks
Best boss lineup of any Zelda game.
If you have time, could you explain yourself?
@@isobebondrewdspringikari3625 Whats to explain? I thought I was pretty straightforward...
You can shield bash or reflect ghirahims magic knife attacks back at him by swinging in the direction they're placed.
This game bosses are the best in the franchise.
Anciens Automaton: Koloktos is an epic boss.
It's fun, it's pretty difficult which is rare for a Zelda boss fight and ihe's got badass moves. I beated him with 1 heart left, it was really stressing trying to avoid his boomerang and than picking up one of his swords on his arms to smash him. Clever boss fight, it's interesting that you need to use the bosses own weapon againsr him to kill him, finally à boss which doesn't end up just using your pwn sword to do damage the whole time. Wished to see that more in Zelda games, your sword is your most important weapon but some bosses should br killed differently to make things more challengers.
I find it amazing that you use the loft wing in 2 of the bosses
Pretty sure it’s only used for one boss
Ya. Levias
I wish there was something like that for the boat in windwaker
@@Michael-hw2stthere are the big octos which you fight on the boat
57:08 Ghirahim briefly flashes his sword form at Link.
Koloktos is my second favourite boss in this game behind Demise/Ghirahim
The first battle with Ghirahim on the Wii version is tougher. Especially when he gets hold of your sword and throws it at you.
But for some funny reason it reminds me of the original Jumanji movie when Van Pelt comes out of the game and when Alan throws the sabre and misses, comes the line: "Not good enough, Sonny Jim!"
Meanwhile in an alternate universe:
New killer: The Demon (Ghirahim)
New killer: The Lord (Ganon)
New survivor: Link
New survivor Zelda
Pretty good concept so far!
If any Zelda villain would fit in DBD it would probably be Zant because he's the most deranged. Ghirahim still fits though
New Killer:The Lord (Ghirahim)
New Killer:The Usurper (Zant)
New Killer:The Devil (Majora)
New Killer:The Painter (Yuga)
New Killer:The Seer (Astor)

It’s an Avocado Godzilla with marshmallow toes
Only one f***ing minute to kill Demise
For me Demise was the hardest boss, probably in any video game I played. I literally had to buy 4 heart potions and I had to grind for heart pieces to up my health. Maybe in the remake I'll do better but on the Wii it was tough.
Demise is so damn easy, I beat him in a minute as well, Parrying breaks the game lol
I remember learning to kill Demise really fast (not this fast) by trying to get the Hylian shield with only 6 hearts, no shield and not recovery items. I remember wishing not having to fight the horde.
I found him difficult in the Wii version. He was pretty easy in the Switch version. Maybe it's because the button controls are so much better. Motion controls in the Wii were a little sloppy so I could never get the timing quite right on the parries. I literally never played this game again after I beat it on the Wii so it's not like I got better at playing this game. The game itself just got better!
Ngl Ghirahim’s third phase is better than Demise imo
Not saying that one is harder than the other, but ghirahim’s third phase is a lot more fun
grahim: can teleport
also grahim: always late
Lmao, this is funnier than it should’ve been.
Ghirahim is like the villian of an old disney movie
Yes it feels like he/she's going to start singing and dancing. Facepalm
@@isobebondrewdspringikari3625 Disney villains do a lot more than just sing and dance
46:12 I've NEVER seen Levias do THAT before! :O
I have
He even does that if you need to go to close when he is good sometimes
Tail Whack
21:34 Hardest boss I've ever fought not only in zelda but in video games in General
I forgot to get a potion and I beat it on my first try with 1 heart 😭😭 I was so scared the entire time
This game really loves Mouths and Cyclops
Man the final boss looks like Ganondorf in Akuma form 😅👏
It is basically Ganondorf, but more evil
...miraculous fan?! AND ZELDA FAN?!

26:03, the animation that created the crossover belief between the zelda and splatoon franchise.
Where did that idea come from?
In splatoon 1 during a splatfest inkling girl statues will laugh

1:08:12 Final Boss: Demise
This is kinda pointless since there are already time lapses
They forgot scervo and dreadfuse, even though they’re mini bosses you still fight them only once so that’s essentially a boss
Ghirahim might as well be a Jojo character, from his personality to his looks to everyone suspecting he's everything but straight
1:06:25 DEMISE IS WAY TINIER THAN I EXPECTED LMAOOOO
I skipped straight to Demise, because I'm only here for him! He looks great!
26:58 is the first time I ever woke my sister up.
Ghirahim round 1 is so much easier in this version
So far I've fought two bosses and died on Ghirahim like fifteen times and Scaldera once, and I had to watch this to find out how to beat Scaldera.
Scaldera is literally so easy bro 😂
@@xerohh I KNOW! I FEEL LIKE AN IDIOT
For the thousand-year arachnid idk how but i managed to be it in like a minute and 10 second after taking out the claws i packed it up to a corner some how and then killed it by poking it eye non stop.
The imprisoned is one of the easiest boss fights ever but it’s so stressful and you have to fight him 3 times which is really annoying
wholeheartedly agree; when you first fight it, it's easy-peasy, but goddamn, it gets much difficult the third time around. i was losing hearts left and right and i was PEEVED lmaooo
@@marisawoodson7026 me too
3rd time is the easiest, you literally get one free shot against him after the first Groosenator hit. The 2nd is a lot harder because he has all the abilities of 1, blocks the sides with his arms, and will shake you off if you get on his head without stunning him first. Even then my record is 1:23 but my worst run is 5+ minutes.
And ghrihim you have to fight 3 times too
No I have to disagree, It’s not hard in the way you probably think I’m gonna say. It was so goddam glitchy, I was falling to my death left and right during the cutscenes. AND WHEN I WAS NOT PRESSING ANYTHING.
Amazing!
This is so good.
Yes it is.
Oh fun tip I learned fir the imprisoned- at least for the section with Groose
- once stunned by the bomb if you take an air vent to get to a level above you can jump right on its head and hit the spike (no need to take out the toes)
Still on par with link to the past and twilight princess!
Except for Ocarina of Time, Majora's Mask, and Breath of the Wild. Those three aren't going to be topped anytime soon.
@@jasoncummings7 to be honest, i wasn't really a fan of Breath of The Wild. For me, the combat was bland, there was little variety in enemy types and almost all the main bosses are basically the same. Hell, the final boss (calamity ganon, dark beast ganon doesnt count for obvious reasons) is basically just hyrule castle's blight ganon. But I can see why people would like it. It has a vast open world with many areas to explore.
Am I the only one who likes the battles with The Imprisoned. I thought they were fun and it’s so satisfying to destroy the toes and make him fall.
We all know you came for 20:35
Extraordinary
Imprisoned 3 was so hard for me but then demise was as easy as breathing
OH WOW GOOD TO KNOW IM NOT THE ONLY ONE FIGHTING THE FINALE WITH 2 LESS HEARTS TO MAX
@live gwendolyne That's because Skyward Sword doesn't have enough heart pieces. You need 2 heart medallions to reach max health.
I love scaldera, levias and imprisoned 3 fight theme
So nostalgic the first game I ever played
34:03 that laugh
let me translate what ganon say at the end : '' there will always be a zelda game where i'll be in it forever ever and ever again ! this the curse of the buyer!"
0:02 turning on your phone at 3 am
I'm dead
Ghirahim is definitely Orochimaru’s long, lost son.
im gonna say it…
there hasn’t been a zelda boss as good as koloktos since skyward sword came out
I lik how the imprisoned gets a tail for balance
How many hits does it take to kill skyview temple boss?
Yes
A lot, but it's justified given that enemies don't get much invincibility frames.
Most people fighting the imprisoned for multiple times are annoyed, whereas I get the intended response of time limit related anxiety. That’s still not fun tho.
I love levias
@@santiagolucianomorazzo2249 same here, but why say that as a reply to something unrelated as opposed to an independent comment?
Link starts the game as what is effectively a squire, but by the time the final fight rolls around, he's something better than a knight. He's Hylia's Chosen Hero. Link is Hero of the Sky, and the first Link to wield the sacred might of the Master Sword.
My favorite boss is ancient automaton I looks cool!
It’s amazing but one question, since when did you do it that fast 😱😱😱
Different people playing the game
@Henry Allred uhh I already finished the game
@Henry Allred Absolutely I grinded the last 2 days to death

I've only ever played the Wii version and no matter what I did I could not get the Wiimote to follow my motions properly. I still beat the game but it was a painful experience. Is the Switch version more responsive?
You're one to talk Ghirahim 20:47
Demise was shockingly easier than I thought
I love the shield sound you could played zelda skyward first in wii
Good game
Una gran espada ⚔️
15:30 awh yes walking potato my favorite boss
I got Demise second try, first try I had one hit left and in the beginning I wasn't even trying XD
Levias is My Favourite Character
21:30 He's got a sword.
23:14 You idiots. We all got swords.
Abu:😁😥
Imo it’s the most underrated and overhated Zelda games imo. The combat, dungeons, items, puzzles, world as a dungeon, gameplay are all sublime and it’s one of the best Zelda games.
Does it have flaws? Yeah it does but imo it’s a better game than Twillight Princess or Breath of the Wild both gameplay and game design wise.
It’s level design is legendary quality and it’s metroidvania design is so much better than the “return to its roots” “wide as an ocean shallow like a puddle” sandbox design of Breath of the Wild.
But because it’s linear and “filler and padding” “it’s not like the NEs Zelda” are bad the Zelda fandom has its collective head up its ass.
Although the control seem rather gimmicky, I am very grateful. With button controls this means this game has more accessibility for me. I am legally blind therefore I would not be able to play this game on a Wii
AWESOOME GOD
Ah yes, i love the game where breaking toenails is your main task and fighting an among us shaped red alligator with a huge mouth
You wasting time against Scaldera prioritizing skyward strikes was hard to watch. Just wail on him when the eye is exposed.
You can also make the fight somewhat easier with the Imprisoned by using the whirlwinds ( making sure they take you to the floor above ), jump on him and smack down the altar.
The incarnation of demise is Ganon and Ganondorf
At 26:10 is that laugh in graves in ur brain from splatoon no just me ok
i died to ghirahim in the first boss fight with him luckily i had a fairy in a bottle thing
My take on how to fix the Imprisoned, remove the second fight.
I don't know what's it with nintendo, but in the last 3 traditional zeldas every boss before the final boss is better than last one.
The Wind Waker - Puppet Ganon has 3 phases with snake form being the most memorable. When reaching Ganondorf, idk something isn't quite fun about him, besides the fact that at last you rely on Zelda using the light arrows which makes the fight not entirely dependent on your own actions.
Twilight Princess - Ganon here was alright but personally the 5 phases of Zant make him the best boss.
Skyward Sword - Ghirahim has fought Link *3 TIMES* and you're saying that the final boss, the dude that's supposed to be the toughest got rekted by link in just a single duel?
That is my issue with Ganondorf fights too, they are always the easiest fights in these games, it is frustrating. Then we have MM who had a decent one unless you go with the mask...
Ajudou muito, obrigado. No meu caso só consegui todos corações pq tenho 2 amuletos q adicionam 2 corações quando usados.
I love Skyward sword HD I play it every day
I don't play it enough
POV me one year ago now after I play different games now
The Imprisoned was by far the most terrifying boss of the series...from the waist up. Once I saw those squishy marshmallow toes it became the most adorable thing ever. Like, I want to just tickle those itty bitty feeties until it rolls over and wants belly rubs.
1:00:07 Nobody ever shows that beam volley in their videos; thanks!
you make it look so easy
i just watch this bc i need to learn how to fight the bosses
Bro how strong is link that he picks up a giant sword and swings it so fast
“He is a farmer” is all the game tells you
14:52
Samehada is pissed!
So it still has motion controls?
Yes but in undocked mode you just use right analog
@@JuiceWrldLivePerformances You can use button controls in docked mode too via Joycons and the Pro Controller
Yes, but they added a button mode that maps the sword to the right stick.

I want to get this game
I notice the frame rate sometimes speeds up throughout the video. Why is that?
