20 years later and I still wanna know more about Ruby Heart and Abyss, possibly a scrapped game or just for show. Abyss is the only Marvel boss not being...well, a Marvel villain, Magneto, Thanos, Apocalypse twice, Onslaught, Galactus, and Ultron fused with Sigma. Marvel 2 is like hidden lore, none of the stages or music are Marvel or Capcom but completely original like if this was Ruby Heart's game that she flies to and accidentally awakens Abyss. I'd love to see this come to life, I'd love to play a Capcom version of Skies of Arcadia.
Well, for what i know, the Lore consist on Ruby Heart wanting a orb (abyss) and recruiting Marvel and Capcom Characters, Abyss doing something to the plants on earth, Sonson being the Grandson of an old Capcom character named Sonson too, and Ruby throwing away abyss ball at the end of the game
In the comics cable suffers from a disease called the techno organic disease a kind of like computer version of the symbiote but it actively tries to take you over he uses his telepathy to keep it at bay and from infecting others so i guess in mvc when he wins they show you that his use of power in battle as lowered his concentration on his arm cause in the comics cable is super damn OP by himself but not at full power or potential due to its hinderance
:V i can beat ABYS only with IRON MAN, and 95 % of the HP :V :V but this is fun :V and then at the last one THE ULTIMATE BEAM BLAST COMBO Iron man, Ryu and Cable and GG no more ABYS :V :V :V

I agree things just felt off, like there was a more thought out plan that eventually got scrapped. Just odd.

I much prefer Apocalypse and onslaugh than Abyss, their history is way better.
1:43 to 1:48 was one of the best Playthrough's and one of the best use of a super combo/desperation move
