    I really like that there is no subtitle when the hosts are speaking, so i can practice my listening. But after one host speaking in mandarin, the other reply on english so if i didn't catch what she means, i can understand what that was after hearing the response in english.
    非常好!

    This video is packed with useful sentences and vocabulary. The title doesn't do justice to all the good information. I was expecting only some dialogue and description of first-tier cities. The video has much more and was a nice surprise. Please keep up the great work.

    一个国家只有一个首都。
    一个国家可有多个首府和省会。
    英语中“Capital” 区分不细,州和国都可以有capital。

    • @ChinesePodTV
      @ChinesePodTV  Před 5 lety +1

      Hi circleforit, actually, 首都 just means 'capital'. Just like we can talk about the "provincial capital" of a place in English, we can also say 呼和浩特是内蒙古的首都。

      @Jerry Woods (ChinesePod) From what I know, the pronunciation indeed changes, but the Pinyin does not. Are there different practices how Chinese is tought?
      Thanks for the reply. My comment on the content was indeed more a suggestion and I appreciate that it needs to be adapted to suit the level.
