With “sealed investments” do you mean that you actually need to keep all the stuff sealed, so not open?
Or you mean that are “sure”, “safe” investments?
For example, is it convenient in your opinion to buy some Shiny Treasure Ex boxes and open them? Or do I just keep the sealed until they rise again? Thanks

What about opportunity cost? Might make sense to buy the cheapest if you plan to hold for 5 or more years, but if you're selling as soon as the price doubles then would make sense to buy the oldest sets - rotation E if you can still get them and if not rotation F.

Where do you get your information on the japanese products?
Mostly from a couple of friends who live there, some card stores that import stuff and a seller I trust. I'm also friends with an old poor aunt who lives on my back and whispers stories to me when the dusk turns to night.

Both are great. I have about an equal nunber of dollars in both too. I do like VSTAR a little better thiugh because it takes up less space and I like the box design more.

Yes, that's my plan. I open a little of different sets to get a fix when they come out, but mostly I keep it sealed with a goal of selling it down the road. I like looking at the boxes as well as investing in them. It makes me happy.
