- Join us as we make more memories and have more motorhome adventures in our Autotrail F60 with two small dogs. This time we take a short 3 night break at Betws-y-coed motorhome and caravan touring park site situated in the beautiful Snowdonia National Park. Nearby attractions include Swallow falls, the Zip world forest, the slate caverns and the Conwy Valley Railway Museum.
We're touring first time this year and watching this, we will be going there....we live about 40 mins from Betws Y Coed and have spent a lot of time there but I didn't know about this park! Thanks 👍

First time I've seen you both, good vlog, lovely site and plenty of walks. Thankyou for sharing.
Thats a lovely van, no beer in the fridge though :-)
Great video 👍 really enjoyed that
Loved your video, very well done and informative.
Lovely jaunt ! We had a Ford Transit camper, with overhead extra bed for the kids, back in the late 1970's - went to North Wales many times - wonderful. We had a camping toilet corner cupboard in ours, which meant we were never in trouble looking for a suitable place to pull over - could go anywhere with our 'mod cons'. Just emptied it as needed. Compost toilets were not invented yet, but it was a good design that wasn't smelly. Had so many lovely times - we camped a lot at Dinas Dinlle on the north shore of the peninsula south of Bangor, huge sandy beach - wonderful to let the kids out & relax !!! Big beautiful view of the whole sweep of the bay, and always a great breeze. A bit off the main road, so look for the signposts ! I'm now 83 & in the US so no longer spending time there - but I do enjoy reminiscing about those wonderful holidays in North Wales ! I really loved discovering all the history everywhere too !
At the time we were able to camp right on the top of the beach, just off the roadway, so that is what we mostly did. but there is an official camp site behind the beach area too. That beach was NEVER crowded either which we didi not understand, but I'm telling the world now, so that may change ! Haha !
Thanks for the video, we keep meaning to go here, looks great, didn't realise it was right behind the station.
We were in England & Wales in 2018 visiting friends. We were in Snowdonia it is very beautiful. We traveled to Caernarfon to visit the Caernarfon Castle which was lovely. The castle Museum was wonderful to tour. I loved the photos & bio of the soldiers that serviced in wars. They had a section for children who could dress in the war uniforms & watch films about the medieval times. They also had Dragon that the children could sit on. Pamela
Love Wales and that site looks very good. Great dog walks too. One to add to our list net time we're heading that way.
Aww, cute little dogs. Me and my little dog loved Betswy y coed
Fantastic vlog 🥰👌🍾🍾🍾
Great vid if the weather is nice it’s a fantastic drive into betwys we live in north wales and regularly visit Lynn gwynant near betwys lovely lake very peaceful doesn’t get very busy because you have to book a space online well worth a visit 👍🏻

Stayed at the riverside site..
Lovely..
Great video thinking of going to Riverside Park. Just up the road from us Aberystwyth.
Gosh I'd never leave my pooches on their own in the van!
Nor me 🤷🏻♂️
I love Betws Y Coed gorgeous site
Nice vlog. We did a tour of Wales earlier in the year and stayed here for a couple of nights. As you rightly said, it’s brilliant for strolls into the town where doggos are welcome in a lot of places. Plus of course there are a lot of walks in all directions. Despite all that, like a lot of places I found this site to be a little too clicky and more dog-tolerant rather than dog-friendly. Signs saying you had to toilet your dog off-site (I tried but my two wouldn’t listen) and little ‘no dog’ flags stuck in the grass. My wife described it as a glorified car park and after an unnecessarily clipped-tone reception, we are unlikely to make it our first choice next time. It all comes down to what sort of stay you want - I prefer wide open spaces where I can spread out, sit back without an audience and throw a ball for my dogs to chase
Really enjoyed your video , great van and lovely doggos 👍
Yes good vid, stayed there last year, maybe worth mentioning in season you have to book a week they don’t accept couple of nights
You need to stay on the gower. Oxwich , rossili three cliffs bay thor bay best parts of wales there's a camp ground in Llangennith and just about on rossili beach you'll love that beech it's huge x
Love wales. Need to get out van out there soon
We've just been away to the cotswolds and met a few people who told us to try the south of wales - alot quieter than cornwall or devon they say.. So its now on our list of places to visit this summer.
@@littlebigvanadventures added to ours too! our list is getting big! :)
Try waterside campsite in ullswater nr poolley bridge.
Thanks for the tip - Ill put this on our list of places to visit!!
What a delightful little camper! How did you find her?
How much did the van cost? Looks so good.
Excellent video, wish you luck with your channel. One question , what camera you using, really good quality , very impressed.
Hi Guys enjoyed this one as usual. Just wondered do you know where you can get the train to? Also would you say 3 nights is enough or if we stay longer would there be plenty to do in the area. Cheers Dave
Id say at least 3 or 4 nights. If your into walking, its a great place to start some beautiful walks in Snowdonia - you also have Swallow falls that you can visit. You can even jump on the train and go into Llandudno for the day...Hope you have a good stay! 😁
@@littlebigvanadventures thank you that’s a great help
One last thing . I know you ate out once but is there anywhere you would recommend? It’s Tracey’s 50th so may have to take her out 😂
@@cornwallandbeyondwithsmith8119 Cant recommend anywhere else as we only had one meal out at the Stable Bar but the food was excellent. Sitting outside was definietly nicer than the inside and they have the overhead heaters to keep you nice and toasty. 👌
@@littlebigvanadventures thank you very much
Can you pitch 3 man tent
So did you go for this caravan on wheels instead of the nugget or the California?
@@littlebigvanadventures absolutely. Looks perfect for 4 people
@@littlebigvanadventures fair dos. You need much more space for four of you.
What was the name of the site? Cheers
How come you didn't get the drop down bed?
@@littlebigvanadventures What Motorhome are you getting next?
How small is that motorhome
This is an Autotrail F60 that is just 6 metres long..
Gorgeous motor home
A motorhome is growing on me, is this a midlife thing 🤔
love dogs as long as the dog owners take home the shit.....unfortunately they don't!!.....
Totally agree - they give the good owners a bad name.
Good video but why play that horrible music it spoils the whole video
LOL - thanks for your feedback..Ill try not to use that one again..🤣
Talk about boring, look what's in our fridge, who gives a hoot.....
