That's great that you're making people comfortable. I was on a ride with my brother, in unfamiliar lands, after dark, ups, downs, lefts and rights. On my father's bike I'd never ridden before that day. Stressful, I just rode what speed I felt comfortable with. Apparently me not being directly behind him made him stress too. There's this one road between Santa Barbara and Lompoc that has a uphill and over the crest is a downhill and an immediate left and if I remember correctly a cliff. That memory makes me nervous about hills.

Good to see you back in the PNW , sorry I missed it, couldn't get out of work. Missed the last visit too. Flat tire on the bike, took the car and popped a coolant line. Third time is the charm! Next visit I'm making it.
My bike started sputtering today, looked down and was out of gas and automatically thought "I just pulled a shade tree surgeon" lol

I pulled a Shadetree and rode 3 hours to Portland, through some desert, over a mountain pass, down the treacherous Columbia River Gorge, and didn't check my tire pressure since last season. I had 18 PSI in the front and 20 in the rear on my '14 SG.

Well I was coming to see you guys again and when I got to The Boarder I found out my passport had expired and I could not get across bummed me out completely. Agree with your sentiment with new riders 100%. I'm teaching new rider 7 and 8 ATM. It's good practice going back to basics and making sure your really grind in important fundamentals to prevent more common mistakes/accidents

I was ridin' those sweet roads right along with ya, Shadetree (in my imagination). Sadly there ain't any "Sessions" here in Japan, though. All I can get is CBD vape. It's like a ghost of the real thang. I can hardly wait to visit my original home in Canaduh this fall and the cannabis shops that providethe stuff of dreams. That magnet gas tank phone situation would do nothing but scratch your tank up. No one ever buy that trust me scratched my shit up on a brand new 2020 Street Bob Harley talked me into getting it saying it was the best thing which I should’ve known because I worked for a Harley Davidson ship for six years, but that was before this shit came out probably four years before all this magnets and all that but that phone on the tank bad idea everyone stay away from it💯
Stock FXRD pipes have a cross pipe and one muffler runs under each saddlebag. My pop bought one brand new in 86 and I know every inch of that bike.

Chey was killing it! Those are big bikes. I’m surprised she was able to handle that. I really wish bike manufactures would make bikes for taller people. I know a lot of companies made lowered and smaller bikes for the Asian market specifically China, but I’m 6 foot two and it’s a little difficultto go on a lot of bikes. I absolutely love my triumph legend to death, but it feels a little cramped on the legs at times.

100% ride your own ride my first big ride back on a bike I got gapped by the others just ended up going for a ride by myself around a heap of country roads I wasn't keen to overtake a line of cars with cars coming towards me still had fun by myself and got to the end pub before them so I could give them shit about taken so long to get there😂 been riding alot since then so I feel like I could keep up this time if we did it again just got to wait for my mate to stop traveling the north island and come back to base closer to summer so we can get ride again

Josh, what are you using to hold the phone on the tank? I got myself a Kawasaki VN8OO which is chuck full of chrome and the quad lock is a punch in the eye. Would love to just be able to stick the phone on the tank and go.
