- OFCOM has ruled that Piers Morgan’s comments on the Duchess of Sussex’s interview with Oprah Winfrey were “potentially harmful and offensive” but ruled Good Morning Britain was not in breach of the broadcasting code.
Piers Morgan said the Ofcom ruling was a “resounding victory”.
But Dr Shola Mos-Shogbamimu says the decision 'whitewashes' Piers Morgan's "offensive" comments about the Duchess of Sussex.

You have a point here. But I think in a way Morgan is like Trump. There is kind of a cult thing going on. When people are in cults you cannot appeal to their intellect because their brains have been deep fried. What you need to realise is that many (but by no means all) white British people are racist - often in a sneaky passive way. Often when denying it to themselves. I say this as a white British person myself. Racism is an appalling human cancer and we all need to check ourselves on a regular basis to make sure we are not coming up with signs of it. Because white British people here are in the majority it is their racism that is by far the most damaging.
