I prefer Axl Rose with botox, but he is still Axl Rose. I prefer Madonna with botox, but she is still Madonna, not some fancy postcard. Look at Boy George. He is never ordinary. Look at Cyndi. She is never ordinary. Even Pet Shop Boys still trying to do something.

They were part of a band that produced some of the best music I have ever had the pleasure of listening to. They are still good of course but Nothing will ever beat the 80's.

I agree, Masquerade is brilliant, and I love their 2005 single Look on the Floor too. Their 2009 stuff was good too, I really respect these women for not bowing down to society's ageist expectations and still releasing bangers into their 60s, the video for the single Masquerade is pure art too.
Their old stuff did very well on the pop charts. Not so with Masquerade and their new stuff, which have had an impact on the dance charts only. Bananarama was at its best when Siobhan was with the group and co-writing songs with Sara.
Sara recently said, that they are in high demand around the world, because they were famous worldwide, and so they always have a gig. In fact i think it was an episode of Antique road show where they both appeared a couple of years back.
I think some of their newer stuff is just as good as the 80's, or actually better. NOW OR NEVER, FOREVER YOUNG, Et al. I can't keep still. great stuff.
