Ford Collision Warning Radar blocked and Adaptive Cruise Control not working. Get error message: "Collision Warning not available, sensor blocked, see manual". This was for my 2012 Ford Edge, but should apply to many Fords with this feature. Please note: this is not a permanent fix and may not be safe if you are using the Collision Warning. I only use this for the Adaptive Cruise Control. View at your own risk!

Thank you, I have a Lincoln MKT 2011 and faced the same problem, I only replaced the grommet part number W790214-S300 and the sensor returned to work, thank you for being the reason, I only spent 7 dollars to fix the problem,😘

I’ll try this, been bad for 5 years on my 2015 mustang GT! Cruise control doesn’t even work. Error message comes up of course. I’ll try it! Thanks again!

Steve I just bought a 2012 edge my sensor was loose I pushed it forward and put the Weldon as you suggested. So let me ask you a question on how should this work, every time you come close to a vehicle should that red light in the windshield go off and second will the brake apply automatically?

So you used JB Weld over a mounting screw for your ACC sensor. You best pray that you never need to replace that sensor.

I know it's been a while since this video but I had the same thing, did the same thing and the Cruise is working and the collision sensor is working also. But, the error keeps displaying on dash when car is started. Does the Collision sensor need to be cleared and re-programmed by Ford? Thanks

I had this light come on after replacing a brake switch. I unplugged the brake switch with the car running which caused the light to come on. I cleared the codes in ABS and in the engine and the cruise control light went away

Does this cause the car to drive rough? This just popped up, and immediately after the car started driving rough

i have 2019 f-150 and i have this error that the pre-collision sensor is blocked cant figure out where it is to try to unblock....

I have a 2017 Toyota Camry Xle model. The car is not are equipped with pre-collision and lane-departure system . today days ago after I derived the car in heavy rain, the warnings light for the pre-collision and lane-departure system is on. Has anybody else been having problems?

Yep, just snap it back on, Phil Long Ford wanted $500.00 to fix while the ranger is still under bumper to bumper warranty, they didn't honor their fake warranty
I fixed it myself for free in less than a minute
