Thanks Jacob, this particular diamond find gave me a tremendous surge of hope!
We just went back in October this year. Kind of overwhelming how big the area is, but there were a couple finds everyday we were there, it just wasn't us! lol. Congrats on the find!
You worked for it! That craterhead caddy is freekin awesome
Yes it is! That is Scott K's vehicle. He is a diehard Original Craterhead!
Awesome video thank you for sharing…
@@ColoradoGoldCamp The pleasure was all mine, you are an inspiration and an incredible Treasure Hunter.
Congratulations and we'll deserved!!
I was on the verge of giving up hope and thankfully this beauty appeared in my tray!!
Congratulations. We have been there three times and have not found any. Thanks for sharing.
Wow Big Diamond
Congratulations!
It was nice to meet you out there at the wash pavilion. Keep on hunting!
You as well William! May you have a diamond shining back at you on the next flip!
Nice gem!!
Again nice i2 drill bit
First time I heard about the Crater of Diamonds state Park was more than 40 years ago. I have always wanted to go there. But now I'm getting old so I don't think I will ever be able to. I'm good at finding things. I found a lot of fossilized shark's teeth, even megalodon teeth. Can't any more because the ditch filled in. Plus my ex husband took the fossils I had set aside as totally perfect and gave them away. Now I ride my bike around looking for change that has been dropped to supplement my social security check at the end of the month. I have found you can train your eyes to easily spot things you are looking for.
Woo-hoo 🎉 nice!
Awww, thank you so much Claudia. I was just thinking about you yesterday! I am back in Colorado where I need to be. Mucho adventure and diamonds to come!! Be well my friend!!
Wow
I am in Oklahoma and have wanted to go to the park for years. Now I have a bunch of grandkids that are about the right age to bring along. Would this be a good weekend trip for kids 5 to 9?
"very serious" is the truth lol. Only went through almost half gallon.
How much is it worth?
How much does it cost to? Thank you in Advance. Congratulations 🎈
Auh, you there guy, I looked & looked, I can only find a set of 3 and you gots 4. What gives? Kindly post where you got that set of 4, saruca! Pretty please!
Use bungee cords to keep buckets from shifting.
Boa tarde amigo daqui do Brasil 🇧🇷 ? Show show seu vídeo amigo, eu também trabalho com explicações de Diamantes aqui. 👍🏼👍🏼
How do you tell the color? “…If it’s brown it looks brown, if it’s yellow it looks yellow”
Maybe I missed it - why the use to over / heat ?
Ahhh, these are the concentrated centers from the saruca. When all of the material is dry, the diamonds are much easier to see and identify amongst the other small rocks.
@@ColoradoGoldCamp Ok , I did not here you say why you heated " dry out " , I wondered if there was a process - like roasting sulphides in concentrates to pull more gold out .
How much is the diamond really worth ?
This one is worth around $1,500. The value on these Arkansas stones can be quite impressive.
This guy must not be married
I was there today and nothing
I don't understand. Such a tiny diamond is surely worthless right? You could find 10 of those every day and not make back the gas money you used to get to the park....and that's if you are local. What am I missing? Are they special diamonds or something? It's a sad day when the guy who drives around on garbage day cutting cords off of vacuums makes 10X more than 100 guys finding tiny worthless diamonds.
Only 1-2 diamonds are found a day in that park so the odds of finding more than 3 is very slim.
The current King of the Hill is David Anderson with the B.U.D. "Big Ugly Diamond" weighing in at a whopping 3.29 carats!
Nice find. We also found a fractured diamond that was 1.98ct a few years ago.
Such a fun place to go to.
That makes is what eighth or 10th diamond over 2 carat. Must be nice getting to dig all day all year long and never be harassed by the park rangers. And still digs illegal. Lol 😂
