I am planning a trip with different airlines (Budapest - Jeddah, Wizz air) and (Jeddah - Bangalore, Saudia airlines) I will not have a single ticket but will have two tickets, hand luggage and a boarding pass of Saudia airlines and probably arrival and departure will take place at different terminals . I will not buy a visa in Saudi Arabia. Is it possible to travel through the transit corridor without a visa? That is, I can board a Saudia airlines plane in Jeddah?

@@Ahmad-bx6vg Baggage was transferred for me. The transfer process, since you are not entering the country, was extremely easy and fast. They check your ticket and then you go through a security check point just for transfers. That's it. Hardest part was it was a very long walk from where I deplaned to the check point. LOL

@@1diamondK I have a United States passport. From what I have researched you would only need a visa if actually entering the country. Also if you are staying inside the airport and your transfer time is less than 12 hours you should be good.
Would you say that 2 hour layover was enough time? I am flying a similar route but have 1 hour and 20 minutes to make my transfer. Kinda nervous it won't be enough time...

If your connecting flight is within 12 hours, you shouldn’t need a visa

Actually if you have more than a 12 hour layover, you need a visa.

Yes, Wi-Fi is available but I believe you have to register with a phone number

Hi, I have a transit time for about 13 hours. I've been trying to find info about visas. But each website is asking a different price. Do you know what visa I need for an NZ citizen? Also a weblink?
You can contact SAUDIA to see if there can be any options to shorten your connection time to less than 12 hours. They may be able to offer some alternatives so you don't have to buy a visa.

I have a flight from Casablanca to New York with a layover in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia for 4 hours, and a terminal change from terminal 2 to terminal 1. I have two questions: do I need to retrieve my baggage, and do I need a transit visa?

If your itinerary is on a single ticket, then you should not need to retrieve your baggage.
