I used kitchen cupboard paint, as an alternative to chalk paint. It's great to paint Laminate Cupboard doors, MDF doors, or Wooden cupboard doors. I used the colour 'Mineral stone' (grey / gray paint), I think white, antique white, dark brown or duck egg blue are all great kitchen door paint colours too. I used half a tin of the primer & 1 and a half tins of the cupboard paint to do my kitchen which is made up of 11 units.

A very nice makeover on a very tiny budget. I love it. My favorite part is the wine crates and mug cabinet in that space. I like your jacket and your relaxed hair with your beard. A good casual look for you.
Hi are the air bubbles all gone now and did you find the source of your leak as I would of done that before repairing the ceiling. I think I will get the Wilko paint not sure what colour yet.
I was wondering what that silver oddity was...............a lemon juicer! It reminded me of the alien ships from War of the Worlds, LOL.

Mr Carrington, it would look really cozy in the evening if you had under cupboard lights.. or led strip lights on the shelves.
It turned out so lovely! If you still wonder about how to incorporate the crack on the cement wall, maybe kitsungi (search Pinterest) might be an idea 😃.
I just love your makeover,, mind you they are all great. I once had a concrete wall with a crack and actually made a focal point of the huge long crack by using gold leaf in and around it, looked amazing and everyone assumed the crack was done as a decor choice lol x
One of the things I most enjoy about your channel is “ getting to travel with you to places I will never see in person.” I love your refrigerator magnet collection. You should have things in your home that YOU love and enjoy.

Nice job Mr. C. You could use those little tiny pottery bowls out on the counter with course salt and pepper. Pinch of this and that!! I love glazed pottery. I'm torn whether I would like the wood bins painted white to match the mug holder? I like the natural look, but would love the cohesive look of white paint. Small kitchens are a challenge for sure. I had a kitchen with a farmers sink only and NO countertops!!! We learn to be creative for sure! XXXOOO
Your process was so wonderfully inspiring that I ended up doing over the pantry using what I had at hand, it is a happy feeling and I cannot thank you enough. Your kitchen is looking so good and what you did with the crates under the counter was pure class

I think my favorite are the wine crates under the counter. Really LOVE how that turned out. I must echo some other viewers in saying you must have the crack addressed asap! Just because it's stopped coming thru to the sink doesn't mean it isn't still leaking somewhere up in the ceiling! Still excellent work and I'm sure you likely already know about the importance of getting the ceiling repaired.. just a bit of encouragement! x
Sweetheart you must address that crack in the ceiling. Leaks are not self repairing. You don't want a gush of water ruining your lovely new kitchen! It looks so bright and clean.
You've done a super job Iwan, the mug display is a brilliant idea and such a great use of space.
I watched your video, yesterday, showing you painting the tiles and sorting out the microwave corner and undercounter storage. I was so impressed. Now having watched this 'tour' of the space and you recommending various products, particularly the brand of cupboard paint you used, I feel confident about trusting Wickes paint. My kitchen was upgraded by my housing association and the cupboards are a hideous wood grain effect in green. And rather than paint the plain white tiles I purchased a load of victorian style tile transfers which were highly recommended. So you've inspired me to crack on with my project.

Kitchen looks lovely, I have magnets on my fridge in our basement family room area, have the same kettle. Love the magnets as I too collect when I travel. My furthest trip was to New Zealand from Canada.

Love the shelves made from scaffolding board, the bare wall is very on trend. A top job done mr C . Although did I spot you made instant coffee ? One must add a beautiful coffee machine. Get on gumtree and look up Gaggia coffee machine. Great job fella x
You gave me a wonderful idea last time with your cd shelf. I took my DVD shelf and repurpsed it for tupperware lids and glassware to declutter. Once again you are such an inspiration for me

Lovely trip to Devon thank you for taking us all along with you! Surprised you didn't pick up that little tray with th autumn leaf on ot from one of the first charity shops! Love the stuff you did buy though, and yes fish knives and a barg at only 10p each, plus those hangers too for ony 10p. I might have to get trip to Devon soon to browse the charity shops, now the summer is over. Hubby & I went to Lyme Regis in mid August for the day an it was shoulder to shoulder with people and very scary. Seaton looks lovely, I have heard about it but not been, your film though made me want to visit so thank you for that. Thanks again, and have a good week ahead x

I love a fridge magnet, both doors are now full, just have 3 non UK, which are Australia, Japan and Cyprus, all the rest are UK, lovely and tacky, certainly a talking point with friends and workmen. 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
My Son and D-I-L travel extensively with our Granddaughter, and they always bring us a fridge magnet back. I love the whacky tacky ones too 🤩 I think the best tacky item they've brought us back was from Singapore, a nodding, waving singing 'Sing-a-pora' ornament 😂 🤣

Great job on the kitchen. You may need to have your roof examined to see where the leak is coming from before you decide to fix the ceiling.

Love the cd storage idea, have an old cd cupboard that will be handy for storing mugs. I also collect fridge magnets from around the world, so my kids always know what to get me when they go on their travels x

It’s amazing! Really impressive how you save and reuse things. I recently did my kitchen too, I painted the cupboards and decided to spray paint the cupboard handles and they have held up well so far. I wonder what it would look like if you spray painted your kitchen handles black? As you seem to have a lot of black accents 😄

My fridge door looks exactly like that and I'm of the same mind; the tackier the better! I love Flying Tiger too, such as treasure trove of stuff for bargain prices. I was just in there last week when they opened after lockdown. Your kitchen really looks light and airy but to be fair I didn't see anything wrong with your previous kitchen but it's all about the vibe you want in your own home so I totally get it. TFS

It looks incredible! Fabulous transformation - I just painted over some VERY yellow tiles on my kitchen fireplace with some white tile paint and the difference is amazing!

Great video 😊 you worked really hard, and it was absolutely worth it your kitchen looks fantastic. One word of warning, beware the picture frame behind you beautiful German glasses. I had a similar set up in my house. But a gust of wind and a slamming door dislodged the frame, which slipped and swept my precious ornaments crashing to the ground 😢 Secure that frame !! X
