Did the exact same thing. In all honesty I was just trying to get more dialogue out of him with choosing the third option. Didn't think it meant actually trying to let him go. Immediately domed him as soon as I got out of that cutscene.
@@WitchnCrafts yeah in retrospect it was interesting to see what he had to say. There are a lot of people in Night City that aren't 100% bad or good, and some gigs you get hired to be the bad person
