What Alice Munro's daughter wrote takes tremendous courage, says Gatehouse founder | Canada Tonight

  • Andrea Robin Skinner, daughter of famed author Alice Munro, says in a first-person essay in The Toronto Star that her stepfather sexually abused her and that her mother didn’t support her. Arthur Lockhart, founder of The Gatehouse, an organization that supports victims of sexual abuse, says the essay was an important part of her healing.
