why do people think skimmer socks work when all they do is wear your motor out.. if that sock wasn't on then your filter would have done it's job .. instead, you put a 'sock' in your filter system which causes blockage and low flow rates through your system which is CRITICAL to keep the pump temperature AND pressure down for normal operating conditions.. these socks are no more than a sugar pill to make you feel like you're doing something special when in reality they're doing nothing but reducing the life of your pump! Seriously!
Clearly you have not used or tested flow rates on these socks. They are literally the same as women's hosiery. Water flows freely through them. Clean or change them on the regular and there is no detrimental impact to the pump at all.
Clearly the info you give is rubbish. I've been using these skimmer socks for years and my pool pump is never overheated. I run my pump 8 hours everyday.. this helps filter trap what the pool sock does not.. so, yes pool skimmer socks help alot and do NO harm to the pump.
What’s the size Of the sock for that basket I know they come different sizes
