हर स्वर्णिम या तमोमय युग में प्रकट होने वाले मानव जाति के इतिहास में मनुष्य की खोज है कि अनंत सुख की प्राप्ति हेतु अपने स्वरूप को जाने। संसार की वस्तुओं में उत्तर न पाकर बार बार उसने दुर्ग्राह्य शान्ति व आनन्द की खोज में भीतर झाँककर देखा है। अपने सत् स्वरूप की खोज में भीतर झाँकना ही ध्यान का अभ्यास है। उस वास्तविकता में दृढ़ अचल निष्ठा ही ध्यान की सहज स्थिति है। आज 'मेडिटेशन' शब्द बहुत लोकप्रिय है। किन्तु खेद! इसे सही परिप्रेक्ष्य में नहीं समझा गया है !!! ध्यान अपने सच्चे स्वरूप का सहज भान है। ध्यान एक प्रक्रिया है।
शास्त्रों को सुनने (श्रवणम्), उनका अध्ययन तथा उनपर पर विचार करने (मननम्) से सभी भ्रम को समाप्त करनेवाला यह ज्ञान प्राप्त होता है। केवल बौद्धिक ज्ञान पर्याप्त नहीं है। इसमें दृढ़ता से स्थापित होना चाहिए। इस ज्ञान में अवस्थिति अथवा स्वयं के अनुभव का साधन ध्यान (निदिध्यासनम्) है। श्रीमद्भगवद्गीता का घोष है कि इस अवस्था में निष्ठ पुरुष का पहाड़ जैसे दुख भी कुछ नहीं बिगाड़ सकते। पूज्य स्वामी तेजोमयानंद जी को अपनी अनोखी शैली में इस विषय को उद्घाटित करते हुए सुनिए।
🌸Meditation 🌸
Through the history of mankind manifesting in every age, golden or dark, is man’s quest to know his inner Self to discover everlasting happiness. Not finding answers in objects of the world he has time and again turned inward to seek this elusive peace and happiness. This turning within in search for the truth of one’s being is the practice of meditation. The firm unshakeable abidance in that Reality is the state of Meditation. Today the word ‘Meditation’ is very popular. But alas! Not understood in its correct perspective!!! Meditation is the effortless abidance in the awareness of one’s true nature. Meditation is a process.
Listening to the scriptures (shravanam), studying and pondering over them (mananam), this knowledge, to end all delusion, is gained. To merely have this knowledge is not enough. One must be firmly established in it. The means of becoming steadfast in this or the experience of the Self is meditation (nididhyasanam). Established in this state, the Gita assures us, that even mountain-like sorrows cause no disturbance. Listen to Pujya Swami Tejomayananda expound this topic in his own inimitable style.

स्वामी तेजोमयानन्द सरस्वती
स्वामी तेजोमयानन्द का जन्म खरगोन, मध्य प्रदेश में हुआ। स्वामीजी को 1983 में स्वामी चिन्मयानंद सरस्वती ने संन्यास में दीक्षित किया। सन 1993 में अपने गुरु स्वामी चिन्मयानंद जी द्वारा महासमाधि लेने के बाद आपने सन 2017 तक चिन्मय मिशन के वैश्विक प्रमुख के दायित्व का निर्वहन किया।
स्वामीजी ने अनेक महत्वपूर्ण परियोजनाओं का क्रियान्वयन किया है, जैसे - चिन्मय अंतर्राष्ट्रीय आवासीय विद्यालय, चिन्मय विभूति दर्शन केंद्र, उपनिषद गंगा दूरदर्शन धारावाहिक और चिन्मय विश्वविद्यापीठ।
स्वामीजी हिन्दी, मराठी, अंग्रेजी और संस्कृत में निष्णात हैं और इन भाषाओं में स्वामीजी की वेदान्त विषयक अनेक मौलिक रचनाएँ प्रकाशित हुई हैं। आप स्वामी चिन्मयानंद जी के गीता और उपनिषद भाष्यों का अंगेजी से हिन्दी अनुवाद भी कर चुके है।
भारत सरकार ने 2016 में स्वामी तेजोमयानन्द जी को पद्म भूषण से सम्मानित किया। वर्तमान में आप संदीपनी साधनालय, मुंबई में वेदान्त पाठयक्रम के आचार्य हैं।

Swami Tejomayananda is a visionary, working in relentless pursuit of the vision of his Guru, Pujya Swami Chinmayananda. Swami Tejomayananda is a versatile speaker, equally at ease in all forums. His humility, gentle temperament, and ready wit, combine erudition with devotion, and his talks not only convince the intellect, but also move the heart.
Swamiji is lucid and clear while discoursing on the Bhagavad Gita, expounding the Upanishads or explaining the intricacies of the Brahma Sutras. Although not formally trained in music, Swamiji has the distinction of being the first person to have set to music and recorded the whole Tulsi Ramayana.
Swamiji spreads the message of the scriptures through Jnana Yajnas (series of lectures) and spiritual camps. His genius lies in adroitly combining the knowledge of Vedanta with the ideals of Bhakti. More importantly, he is a living example of those ideals.
