So Rountree's Alex callout worked. The UFC wants to use Hill as scapegoat to get Rountree vs Alex. I think Hill should win though unless he is not fully recovered.

All the respect to Jamahal for a) taking on a dangerous opponent on such short notice after a K.O. and b) not succumbing to some ridiculous excuses some of the MMA media have been pushing hard for him. This is how you handle a loss kids!
Probably a good idea for Hill . It's a quick comeback but he might be better off trying to stay active. If he gets knocked out again take more time off.

i think it varies by jurisdiction but just from skimming a handful of news articles, it looks like a handful of people who have been KO'ed get 'indefinite' suspensions until they are cleared by a neurologist, often with 30-45 days of mandatory rest/no contact. 60-90 day suspensions also seem pretty common

Not sure if you remember but I called it, I said the way jamahal looked in his fight with Alex it be appropriate to see him take a slight step down in competition, and Khalil vs jamahal sounds appropriate, and ya I agree jamahal should be a slight favourite , don’t sleep on rountree tho , he shouldn’t be no more than a +110 +120

I am a huge Poatan fan but I also picked Jamahal to beat Perreira. It’s mind boggling that people give you a hard time for picking Hill. Surely, everyone is a genius in hindsight but come on people, it is a fight game and nobody can always pick correctly. Makes me mad that people give you crap for wrong picks, especially since you don’t charge anyone for your picks and do it more for fun than anything else… sheesh 🙄

Ngl it seems like kind of a quick turnaround after getting KOd the way he did. I thought he’d be at least medically suspended. But maybe he got checked out and the doctor said he didn’t actually suffer much brain damage and it was cool for him to come back this quickly. And respect to him because this is a risky fight too considering where both guys are ranked. He could’ve gone for Jan or somebody else that’s higher than Khalil. I think Jamahal just needed to get back in the cage after being sidelined for 15 months, and that probably played into the loss against Alex. Obviously I’m not taking away from Alex but still, Jamahal didn’t exactly look like himself. But I think he beats Khalil in June, then if he beats somebody else like Jan, Jiri, or somebody else high in the rankings then he could be right back in the title mix.
He probably is on medical suspension - 90 days is usually protocol, UFC 303 is in roughly 90 days

I think more fights will be made. this is a slow week for the UFC cause there is no card till UFC on ESPN 55 Nicolau vs Perez. Khali has done his five fight win streak UTR. this is the biggest name he has faced. He could stake his claim for a shot with a win.
