Man, this game has so much beauty to it, I honestly can’t stop myself from just looking around at the landscape every now and then, especially in places like the Rift and Falkreath Hold. This game is absolutely gorgeous.
This is it. Exactly. I haven't played Skyrim in years but it's the only game I've put more than a thousand hours in. It was magical for my teenage self. And it still is magical. You captured the atmospheric nostalgia perfectly. The very definition of immersion. The peaceful cool blues of the aurora accompanied by an incredible soundtrack. Peak gaming 👌 No wonder Skyrim is so near to our hearts.
it feels like camping bc city dwelling people don't get to see the stars like you do in the countryside that alone is huge to the feel for me who's nearly always lived in places with "light pollution" bc being out in nature at night is a trip that'll make you feel you're hitting a joint, Sober.
I’m not big on Skyrim but I loved moments I have had with it like this moments like this in any game need to be studied, replicated, and appreciated more. This sells me on a game. Can I just f*** off doing nothing and vibe with the ambience of the game and appreciate the world the devs have thrown me in and take the adventure I have departed on all for a second. 10/10 gamer moments when you find some games that lets you do this.
I started playing Skyrim a few months ago for at least once a week, and man you hit it right on the nose. The first time I really stopped and look up at night, I was leaving Riverwood through the northeast exit and had crossed the bridge and was just about to turn the corner in the path leading to Whiterun. I stopped walking and looked up, was greeted by the giant moon, and maaan..... it was magical for sure, but it was also just...really peaceful. Serene. It was a lovely experiencing, taking all of that in for the very first time. Beautiful game, splendid. I did get ambushed by a dragon shortly after but let's not dwell on that
The first time Skyrim engulfs you and you truly get lost in the world is an experience as a man I can only equate to camping in the actual wilderness on LSD, that’s a testament to Skyrim not drugs btw
Traveling across Skyrim when it's dark in the game and in real life is a magical, special feeling. It's the world and the music together that set the stage for memories to be made
This one really hit bro. 🔥 For so many reasons that I just can’t even begin to explain. You more than earned my sub. The way you said what’s up to your follower and passed him the blunt was such a genuine thing to see. You offered him the blunt like a homie. That was so cool to see.
I'm 28 and playing it for my first time now! I borrowed the game from my cousin when it came out and I remember creating a Khajit but I probably played for like 20 minutes and never again. Now I'm playing through the whole thing for real. Its amazing so far.
That magic, that passage into another dimension, is an indescribable sensation. When I had the idea of following a Quest, but then I saw a sign, a deer, and I started exploring far and wide, with snowfall, rain, sunshine, northern lights, all accompanied by this almost dreamlike music. There's no way to describe that feeling to someone who hasn't felt it, just by playing the game, you really get it. Thank you Bethesda and thank you Jeremy Soule for giving us this gaming milestone.
There's always that one game with that bgm that always brings back nostalgia. For me it was Nexon's MapleStory. Pulled all nighters on that game back in Middle school
@@ZeroWFPF The nostalgia for me is going to be Cult of the Lamb in a few years. Playing it for the first time now and I just know in my soul that while it will always be amazing, I’m more than likely seeing it all on the first playthrough and won’t get this experience again. Skyrim is massive though, I’d played the entire story as a kid and I’m going back now and realizing that the main story is actually a very very small part of the Skyrim experience
This is such a bs line. Nobody is born good or evil, its only about the choices you make. P was super happy being Alduin's best bro, slaughtering humans for generations until he realized his wrongdoings. But realizing them doesn't excuse them. So now hes playing your ass pretending to be a victim, pretending he did not choose to terrorize the world. I really like how Bethesda wrote this character making him the badass dragon full of wisdom who's helping you so you can be blinded by his morals. I also like how they made the Blades ungrateful cunts so you obviously don't want to help them even though they are 100% right about P. This is basic reason vs passion and Bethesda masterfully tricked millions of players who, to this day, still think P is a badass who repented instead of a coward who wants to save his ass.
@@KnotsOfWonders Sure it has great atmosphere, but mechanically it's a lobotomized elder scrolls game. It's nice if you just want to look at a pretty picture, but you don't need to spend 60$ on something to see a nice picture. I wonder what TES6 will take out when it releases. Every new TES release we lose a batch of mechanics from the previous games.
@@Slaggedfire I wouldn't say lobotomised but rather it's been Mcdonald'sified. Which isn't a good or bad thing in my opinion because the streamlining of the mechanics attracted a larger playerbase to the franchise and more people playing = franchise not abandoned. There are some things they did better I think like dungeons although more linear are more unique compared to previous games. I'm more worried about corporate greed with microtransactions and 10 re-releases of legendary special anniversary remaster remastered editions of the same game.

My problems melt away, I forget my troubles, the only thing I’m worried about are my quests. Elder scrolls 6 needs to hit like Skyrim does
Literally the best music in the video game industry.
This game saved me when i had nothing
I say the same
Facts man. I lived with major assholes one time, this game offered me an escape and your damn right I took it!! First game I got to hundreds of hours
When the right song hits at the right time, you gotta sit back and enjoy the moment sometimes. We all feel that
I like Ghost Recon Wildlands for this
Fallout new Vegas radio did that for me
Bro I haven’t played Skyrim since 2016 I played it back in the day 2011 but now I am trying to grind and fix my life but once I sort my life out I will play Skyrim again and I’ll cry tears of joy 🙏 but now I must grind and work hard and get money
@Jordan Marazzi do your thing bruv
Just happened to me yesterday in Minecraft
im going back, pass the light
Man, this game has so much beauty to it, I honestly can’t stop myself from just looking around at the landscape every now and then, especially in places like the Rift and Falkreath Hold. This game is absolutely gorgeous.
This is it. Exactly. I haven't played Skyrim in years but it's the only game I've put more than a thousand hours in. It was magical for my teenage self. And it still is magical. You captured the atmospheric nostalgia perfectly. The very definition of immersion. The peaceful cool blues of the aurora accompanied by an incredible soundtrack. Peak gaming 👌 No wonder Skyrim is so near to our hearts.
it feels like camping bc city dwelling people don't get to see the stars like you do in the countryside
that alone is huge to the feel for me who's nearly always lived in places with "light pollution" bc being out in nature at night is a trip that'll make you feel you're hitting a joint, Sober.
Yea this video dam near gave me goosebumps CUS that's exactly how it went. I wish I could go back 2 those times
I had the exact same feelings towards Oblivion on 360 in my early 20's, can't wait to have it all over again with the next TES!
Real it builded teenaged me
The same here, 3 thousand hours playing this, and i miss so much.
Playing Skyrim in the middle of the night just heals my soul.
Getting baked as shit and listening to that God tier soundtrack while exploring just hits different
@@UncleFiggy 😂😂😂👌🏼💯
I’m not big on Skyrim but I loved moments I have had with it like this moments like this in any game need to be studied, replicated, and appreciated more. This sells me on a game.
Can I just f*** off doing nothing and vibe with the ambience of the game and appreciate the world the devs have thrown me in and take the adventure I have departed on all for a second. 10/10 gamer moments when you find some games that lets you do this.
when you look up at night and see the aurora for the first time on your first character, there’s really not many moments better than that
I started playing Skyrim a few months ago for at least once a week, and man you hit it right on the nose.
I did get ambushed by a dragon shortly after but let's not dwell on that
@@user-hp9qy5fr4sdragons always pop up when I'm trying to enjoy the view
Localized in your own room
The first time Skyrim engulfs you and you truly get lost in the world is an experience as a man I can only equate to camping in the actual wilderness on LSD, that’s a testament to Skyrim not drugs btw
Elden ring: first time seeing Leyawin from the eastern rampart.
Traveling across Skyrim when it's dark in the game and in real life is a magical, special feeling. It's the world and the music together that set the stage for memories to be made
Well said put together will
You should see what its like in VR.
God damn that was beautiful
Then a vampire group atacks and you realize you are still in same old fcked up Skyrim.
This is arguably one of the most relatable posts on this platform
My favorite game ever literally just god sent
"This Skooma ain't shi--"
"Maybe I'm heavyweight, I ain't feel nothi-"

Just say no
“You’re finally awake…”
Skyrim has its moments of peaceful contemplation and has the greatest spots to sit and ponder them for a bit
Real nigga shit
@@sbj97on moms no one ponders as hard as us Skyrim players.
Well said man
The games map was the game, everything else was bonus content
@Jared Bradley oh yea playin Skyrim whilst stoned is by far the greatest experience I’ve ever had
Hell yea that’s how chill it is man. It’s a window to another universe brotha
This one really hit bro. 🔥 For so many reasons that I just can’t even begin to explain. You more than earned my sub. The way you said what’s up to your follower and passed him the blunt was such a genuine thing to see. You offered him the blunt like a homie. That was so cool to see.
And that is why skyrim will always be a timeless game
man, i wish i could play skyrim for the first time again. it was honestly an indescribable feeling to play it for the first time
I'm 28 and playing it for my first time now! I borrowed the game from my cousin when it came out and I remember creating a Khajit but I probably played for like 20 minutes and never again. Now I'm playing through the whole thing for real. Its amazing so far.
@@MassHysteriaHD😢😢😢
@@MassHysteriaHDhappy for you
@MassHysteriaHD enjoy it, ive tried to replay it 2-3 times.... doesn't hit like the first time... like time didn't exist it was so emersive.
I'm playing it for the first time right now. In VR. And wow. It's hard to leave that place.
Ngl homie this shit made me shed some tears
This music always gives me that feeling that I can’t get back from when I was a kid
Yup, same here. I play this for my children when they sleep. I think it puts all of us in a good place.
@ebonymercury6701 get them the waking up in skyrim pillow
@@SantosMendoza-sj4nh"Hey, you, you're finally awake."
“What is better? To be born good, or to overcome your evil nature through great effort?”

let me guess, someone stole your sweet roll?
Then you go ahead and kill him😢
@@praiseoyirinnaya3763I could never
This is such a bs line.
Ser malo y sin empatia es mejor.
The tundra is always beautiful
I love Skyrim that’s one of my favorites .I hope the next one will be just as good as this one including the sound track.
So glad I keep coming across this every now and then
That's how you know you made a true masterpiece. 12/10 game.
Climbable Mountain/10 game.
Nah. It's the worst Elder Scrolls game so far. Somehow more watered down than Oblivion.
@@Slaggedfire Narrative wise I agree, but you can't deny it is one of the most immersive if not the most immersive world.
This is the feeling Todd talks about. To just take that moment and watch the scenery
@I_AM_MONKEY todd is the biggest, lamest failure in gaming industry.
Skyrim isnt tho
@I_AM_MONKEY both elder scrolls and fallout titles have great games which is why both fans of those titles can't wait. 76 was a side project
@@I_AM_MONKEY_I liked 76, sucked at launch but got better over time. Similar to No mans sky.
@I_AM_MONKEY_ it's not everybody's favorite pacing in games. MMO's can take awhile to get going, not everybody's cuppa but it's not necessarily trash lol
@I_AM_MONKEY well there's only one multiplayer elder scrolls game and Todd Howard's team aren't the ones who made it/working on it.
Sometimes, on a really big screen, Skyrim just hits like this.
I like how this pops into my shorts every couple weeks
I'm not crying, you're crying.
Just a bit of dust in my eye...

@@MissSpookyMooky shut up lol 🤣
I.m not crying. But it did move my cold dead heart.
The best piece of music from the game for me.
I remember being unsure about Skyrim when I played the first hour, then nightfall came I had just retrieved something from a cave for the dude in Dragonsreach it became night fall in the game and I was free to roam, i specifically remember wondering around the world and this music started playing and I cannot describe how amazed I was by the feeling it give me …no other game has done it since (maybe fallout 4) It was like falling in love, Some people will never understand it. Beautiful game and you captured the feeling perfectly.

That wine glass next to the system makes me MEGA nervous.
Playing Skyrim at 3am consists of checking the time and confused how it’s 3am already
True 😅
I used to set my alarm back in the day at 1:30 am just to wake up watch star Trek then play Skyrim I would blaze and explore caves man I get lost for hours come out and the sky is sunny makes you squint your eyes until new one comes out I will happily play this

I really hope Bethesda brings Jeremy Soule back for Elder Scrolls 6, Inon Zur is fine but Soule's music literally embodies the soul of Tamriel
They probably won’t because of the sexual harassment allegations against him.
