I dream very vividly and can remember them when I wake up. I'm convinced that my dreams are a connection to myself in another demension through quantum entanglement. Allowing me to see and experience a whole other life. I also believe that sometimes we can connect to others close to us in real life, allowing us to see their lives through their eyes.

  • @PeteLewisWoodwork
    @PeteLewisWoodwork Před 2 lety +7

I am almost 60 and I have studied/researched so may things in my life that I cannot recall them all. However, about a fortnight ago, my attention turned to what happens when we sleep - and dreams. I started taking notes daily and came up with the logical conclusion that because our eyes are closed and our conscious thoughts paused when we sleep, dreams can only be made up of things from memory - even if we cannot consciously remember them when awake. There are two meanings associated with 'dreams'; those of our waking dreams - for instance, dreaming of owning a particular kind of house by the sea or in the country - and our sleeping dreams, which are mainly beyond our own control. I remember a line or two from a 1976 Ian Hunter song - "expansion is the clue, your dreams are nearer than you've ever been". Both waking and sleeping dreams are just that - expansion, going beyond the here and now. However, waking dreams are focussed on the future, whereas sleeping dreams process what has already passed. In both waking and sleeping dreams, 'time' is laid aside and we enter a realm of eternity (without measure). The distant future or past could be here and now in a dream. Waking dreams project a future upon the here and now, whereas sleeping dreams process what we know that has passed. Another thing I all but concluded is that, for humans, at least, dreams are highly influenced by vision - what we have seen, probably more than any other sense (smell, touch, taste). If anything, hearing comes the nearest second but quite a way from sight. We can still hear, feel and smell during sleep but we cannot see. That means that our outer sensory faculties, except for sight, still work and have some input but our most powerful sense - sight - and our internal sense of taste are switched off or at least muted. I could go on about this for hours but I think I have mentioned enough for now to get people thinking.

I always get lost in my dreams and end up wondering aimlessly… I start out at my home then on my way to the kitchen or bathroom I end up in a shopping mall or my old highschool and it pisses me off so badly… it happens so often that as soon as it does I realize im dreaming and from there I can decide if I want to wake myself up or not… usually im always lost looking for a bathroom and my brain is just preventing me from finding one because its not like I can use it and my bladder is getting that alert so once I realize im stuck in a dream labyrinth all I have to do is shake myself…
I used to have very bad sleep paralysis when I was younger… talk about terrifying, I used to get stuck for what felt like forever but I dont think it ever lasted longer than 1 minute, but if you think about it, being stuck in your head, and usually one of my eyelids would crack open and thats when it would start.
When I lived with my girlfriend I had a way to let her know, it was the only thing I could control while I was still in sleep paralysis, and it was my breathing, so I told her that if I ever started breathing rapidly short breathes in and out of my nose that was me trying to get her attention and it actually worked several times..
The sleep paralysis kind of stopped happening after I turned 26-27, im not sure why, but having to deal with it all those years is how I got good at realizing that im dreaming while im dreaming, Ive had a few, idk if I would call them lucid dreams but once I realize im in a dream sometime I can make myself fly like that app where you have to keep tapping to keep the bird up and as soon as you stop it starts falling, idk its weird. And the shaking myself to wake up came from sleep paralysis, thats how I would wake myself up whenever no ones around. Usually the first 1 or 2 times it wouldnt work cause my brain is still keeping my limbs in sleep mode but eventually I would break free. Now when im just normal dreaming and I know im dreaming, its like just sending that signal to the brain of shaking my limbs wakes me right up.

I viewed the temple from first the outside, it was in the middle of a lake town and it was on a grassy island in the middle. When I entered the temple I wasn't as me I was floating and seeing the scene from above. I watched some kind of ritual take place. Six women came in dressed in flowing green dresses (about mid length) and held clay pots with green decorations, they spun and danced around the drain and then poured the liquid in the pots into the drain. It was very beautiful and very strange and other worldly. The also sang hymns or something in an unknown language. It was a strange dream to have. Cool right?

When I was young I used to look forward to going to bed because it was like going to the pictures and my dreams were vivid and rarely frightening. I've tried self hypnosis and had quite a lot of success as it brings lucid dreams. Recently I had some sessions of hypnotherapy which have helped me to control dreams. An interesting aside from the hypnosis is that when I close my eyes I see swirls of colours and by picking on my favourite purple I can make it grow. This is my pathway to conversation with my subconscious. I'm not sure how many people see those colours, but it may have something to do with Parkinson's Disease which I have. I take the dreams as a compensation for the PD. I've also had an out of body experience which was controlled and very interesting.

I have figured out some reoccurring symbols in dreams. Paintings that appear in dreams are interpretations that you have made, because paintings are usually less than photographically clear. Bears are either ursa major or minor if they appear at night, and have celestial meanings concerning times. Try to interpret your dreams a lot and you might start to dream of paintings, I dream of paintings all the time that I am trying to finish. I interpret dreams after I read the whole bible, it is a book of the dead meant to show the language of dreams I think, not for morality god gave people a conscience for that

Ok here goes! This will be a long comment so I thank anyone or everyone that takes the time to read it in its entirety.
I have always had moments of Deja Vu that I never necessarily considered Deja Vu. I actually believe them to be Premonitions. The first real incident that blew my mind happened in 5th grade, but I dreamt it in 3rd grade. I remember when I dreamt it because the dream was so vivid, it was extremely clear when I woke up and made absolutely no sense at all at the time I dreamt it which is why it was so easy to remember it. I even woke up and told my brother, sister, and mom about it. In the dream, I was walking down a long wall in a large school and I was a new student carrying books in my hands. I was older but I felt the age I was when dreaming. I was walking at the end of a soccer field and there was a percussion band playing at another edge of the field, practicing with an instructor. Everyone was wearing green and white uniforms. As I walk down the long outer wall toward some picnic tables to take a seat I turn a corner and slammed into a young girl who was turning the corner at the same time in the opposite direction. We both fell backward and I dropped the books. It was supper embarrassing and I woke up with that feeling of embarrassment. This was so weird and memorable when I awoke because at the time we lived in Pennsylvania and I was in a public elementary school which was nothing like the dream. There was also nothing at the time that I had seen even similar to that. Your talking days before the internet and when all you watched was TV regular channels.
Then all of a sudden 2 years later we moved back to my hometown in Saltillo, Mexico, and the school my mom enrolled me in was COLMEX on my first day there in the middle of the day during recess there I was walking down that wall with the books in my hand. Everything hit me all at once the full dream. I was able to remember the details completely. So as I reached the edge of the corner I stopped and didn't turn and the girl walked right past me. We did not bump each other. The best feeling was nothing was embarrassing me. It was the craziest thing ever though. While at that school and in that city I had another dream that was a premonition.
In fifth grade, I had another dream that was ridiculously detailed and vivid and that made absolutely no sense at all. The same thing, as walking into a new school. This time the school was super small, everyone was wearing blue and white uniforms, and this assistant was walking me to my classroom guiding me there. This school was like a large hacienda-styled building turned into a school. When I arrive at what would be my classroom, the class had not started yet but there were students already sitting at their desks. The assistant tells me to take a seat at an empty desk and there weren't many to choose from. What stuck to my memory a lot when I woke up that seemed so odd was that the desks were so old looking like the ones made from actual wood that you can open and place books and supplies inside them, but even crazier was that they were all painted pink. In the dream, I see a group of kids some of that probably were from that classroom and they were just hanging out in the corner sitting on top of the desk talking with other students from my classroom. I end up taking the closest seat that was empty as I walk in and since I'm new I just sit there and stare forward and then almost instantly a kid walks into the classroom and sees me sitting there and says to me in Spanish "who the hell do you think you are sitting in my desk you stupid gringo" and everyone started laughing at me. Again very similar to the first dream in certain aspects and I was also so embarrassed and woke up feeling very badly.
A year later, we had moved to a super small town in central Mexico, Patzcuaro, Michoacan, and the first school I went to there was nothing like that school. But I had issues at that school with some fights and my mom found out that the other school had more prestige and so she enrolled me in a second school. This was the start of 6th grade or more a less a couple months in. When I began the journey to the classroom with the assistant guiding me I was shocked and could remember everything instantly. I was literally debating in my mind what I should do differently. I was seriously worried to go through that situation in the dream. I was thinking to myself should I choose a different desk, should I stand and wait until that boy walks in and takes a seat first? I seriously didn't know what to do. I decided I would test the premonition instead. Sort of like stopping before turning the corner except for this time I wanted more proof like involving others to see their reaction. I went into the classroom and sat down at the same desk and waited to see that boy walk in. As soon as he went into the classroom and looked at me right when he began to open his mouth I yelled at him and said in Spanish (Yes I'm a f*%cken Gringo and I took your seat, what are you going to do about it." Everyone started laughing at him instead a lot of them questioned how I knew it was his seat. Turned out this boy was the most popular kid in school and was the biggest bully there. For the rest of the year of my studying there he never once spoke to me EVER and he would avoid me all the time like he was so afraid and shocked that I would say what he was going to say first.
The premonitions became more and more frequent over time. Always with dreams always situations that were strange like confrontations or meeting someone new or experiencing something completely new. A lot of time there wasn't anything major like those that needed to change. But as I would tell people anything about this and explain it to them they all think I'm making things up and lying. So because of this, every chance I get to prove I'm having a premonition moment that comes to reality and I can say what's about to happen or about to be said, I immediately try to do so. In one of those types of instances, I was dating a new girl that I really like a lot before our first date. I was working as an English Teacher as a second language at a school much like Harmon Hall. While a teacher there I had a student (adult classes) that I really liked, but of course, since I was her teacher I found it impossible to try and make a move because it would be unprofessional. When I quit the job due to friction with other staff members, she convinced the front desk receptionist of the school to give her my number and she called me out of the blue and told me that everyone in her class really missed me and that they wanted to organize a reunion to have drinks and maybe go out to eat. I accepted of course. When that Saturday came to be I was thinking everything was ready to go as planned and she called me last minute to say that no one else from the class would be able to make it and that only she was available lol. So I had a BBQ invitation from other friends I invited her to join me and go with me to meet my friends. The attraction was so powerful we couldn't take our eyes off of each other and we were talking so much that we never paid any attention to anyone else. I was literally telling her about my premonitions and that I really like her a lot because I was sure I had met her before in a dream. She laughed and looked at me as cheesy and weird. At that exact moment, a premonition comes to reality and it hits me all at once. But this time I didn't remember when I had that dream it felt more like a deja vu but when it hit me I knew a few seconds forward what was going to happen and I told her "Wow in fact this is a dream I had and said to her my friend who invited me is about to walk up and I will stand, hug him and say hi to him and when I go to introduce you he will recognize you and scream out your name surprised that you are there because you both realize you already knew each other. As soon as I finished explaining it to her everything happened exactly like I said it would and she was so shocked she froze when my friend went to say hi to her. She sat back down afterward and just looked at me and said WTF how was that even possible. She thought it was some kind of prank. Those are just the most interesting and memorable experiences what do you all think? Should I try to learn more about it?

Asik ali Idayadullah Your dream is symbolic and if your dreaming this many times then what your dream is telling you that what you see & read before you (in the mirror) is nothing more than what you think you are/your fantasy. ? So what I'm saying is you think you know yourself but you really don't. Reflection, mirroring, When I see a reflection of myself it's me flying over a crystal clear lake at the peak of a mountain that goes through the clouds , where spirit and reality are met with Beauty closest to the Heavens (as a Human sees it). If you saw what you say you would not be 2 dimensional. Your much more though your dim view of what you are is only cheating you. Even blind people see in mirrors. So right there that says your blinding yourself with your arrogance maybe?

A “man” with a big cloak over his head. You couldn’t see his face, he has a giant scythe and would chase me around until I woke up. Years later, I just realized.. That dream was messed up.. What’s interesting about dreams (at least mine) is that sometimes inside them you have old memories related to the place and the people in the dream, of time spent with them in a certain place within the dream, memories that never existed but inside the dream you are absolutely sure they are real, you don’t question them, that may say alot about our own reality, what if our memories are just a mind adaptation to what we see in the moment, what we imagine, the places the people, but they never happened in the first place? The present moment may be the only thing that we can be sure of and it may just be a mind created illusion anyway.

I've had a recurring dream over and over since I was a little girl. And what's even weirder is I remember it as vividly even during my waking hours. I dream of a plain white two story house with black trim and a small plain porch at the front entrance. It is somewhere in America, as there is farmland with crops that surround the house and it sits on a small hill overlooking all the farmland from all directions. It has a winding tree lined road that leads up to the front entrance. When I was little I used to ride up the winding road on a bike, then as I got older in years in real life my dream had me pulling up to the house in a car. I walk up to the front door and open it but when I step inside I actually step into an archaeological dig somewhere in a Middle Eastern locale. This recurring dream has had me looking for this house in actual real life every since I first dreamed of it. As an OTR driver for the past few years I've looked in every state in the lower 48 and still have not found that particular scene. Very strange I believe!

Since I was a child, I dreamed of being chased through a mansion and there being stairs that went no place and doors that didn’t open and hidden rooms. It was reoccurring until I was 35 when I watched a documentary on tv and the house in the documentary was the one in my dreams. It was the Winchester Mansion in California. I had never been to California or seen that house before. Since I realized that house was the one in my dreams, I never had that dream again. It was quite liberation.

This is also what happened to me first thing in the morning, and when i had the game in my hand for real this time, i was like Wow! my dreams break so many of the 'rules' in this vid. I've read literature and done complex math in my dreams (and gotten it right if I think about the algorithms or math problems again when I awake). And ever since I was little I dream about being in the shoes of other people in other scenarios or even other eras that I never had knowledge of at the time. I wasn't allowed tv as a kid so my ideas didn't come subconsciously from that. The dreams often take me to very dark times in history I never even knew existed at the age of 5.. or I see horrible acts done to people or animals that I never even KNEW about as a little girl. I'd dream of war, abuse, death or sometimes love and intimacy but through the eyes of OTHER people. I don't feel better about my brain after watching what apparently normal people dream of lol. What's more, I recall MANY of these dark dream journeys even from when I was a toddler because they were so shocking.

Anyone who is gifted their dreams wont line up with this video an will break the rules of this video as you put it. The main reason you dont hear alot of gifted people talk about it is because the world is cruel an will cut down or attack people when they do talk about it. You my dear are merely gifted.

So scary. It just proves 1) we only utilize about 10% of our brains, watch "What the bleep do we know". Also I think Sentience of Being". Both available on CZcams. 2) seems to prove reincarnation doesn't it? I write a poem, a quite long and epic poem when I was 16 or 17, that when I actually read it was medieval in pronunciation. So scary but cool too.

I had a dream about a year and a few months ago that has stuck to me like glue. At the time I was going through somewhat of a financial crisis so I was doing a lot of praying and self aware talks with myself which always puts me at a high spiritual vibration. I usually also smoke every night before bed so I never remember that I even dream most nights. Of course this week I was going to sleep completely sober. For some reason I was waking up every night between 3-5 unable to go back to sleep. I would just pray and eventually doze back off. One particular night I dreamt of a woman who was sexually assualted in my apt by a police officer. It's like I was her but then at the same time I wasn't. My daughter and her older sister were there and I remember being fiercely protective over them but its like I knew they were a representation of 2 different girls. I've lost so many of the details that made it really odd but the one thing I'll never forget is the terror. How unsafe she felt even when she thought she had help. I remember waking up completely terrified as if I wasn't safe. I walked to work that morning looking over my shoulder a few times

    (a) I have seen myself in a mirror while dreaming; however, the first time was when I was around 55, and was an image of the character in the story line of my dream...but it was very clear and sharp, I even remember pausing in the dream to consider how unique it was. (b) I never remembered the faces from my dreams until recently, even friends and aquaintences...but now I do. They are not in all of my dreams, but when they are, they are sharp and clear and I even recall their voices. (c) I have had a handul of truely lucid dreams, but I have always been a lucid dreamer in minor way - I seem to have a director, observer/critquer, and the character versions of myself in all of my dreams, and the director will make minor tweaks based on what the observer comments on. The changes are ususlly because my character self is becoming uncomfortable or the storyline is going nowhere. (d) I always recall my dreams backwards, and sometimes I'm able to recall more than one dream including when one ended and morphed into another.

I had a dream about a temple with a stain glass dome. I'll describe it. It had a pattern tile floor and a drain in the middle of the main room with the dome. The main room had a big throne with an alter infront of it, for sacrifices maybe.
